JACK

"Run!" I screamed and we all run towards the ladder. There are a lot of stones on the ground which slowed us. Art put down the torch and helped me carry Roni. The monsters are coming at us, some tried to cross the bridge and fell at the river. Most of the pack climbed down on the cliff.

"They're coming." Prim muttered behind me with shaking voice. We reached the ladder and Prim hurriedly climbed up, fear is taking over her. "I don't want to die." She screamed while taking up the steps.

I carried Roni over my shoulder and she turned upside down, it is so hard knowing I have to keep my balance so she won't fall and climbed the ladder carefully so I won't slip. Art threw a lot of acid on their direction, slowing them down. Prim reached the top of the cliff and never looked back to help us. Damn. She's so scared right now that she can't think of anything.

Suddenly, someone shoots an arrow at the back and they all began grunting in pain, one by one. I looked up and an arm is in front of me. She smiled.

"Need a hand, Jack?" She muttered. I extended my arm and held her hand. She pulled me up and when I got to the edge of the cliff, I let out a sigh of relief. I hugged Roni tighter.

"Thanks, Lauren." I muttered while panting. She smiled at me before transforming and jumping towards the direction of Art.

"Climbed up, now!" Matt shouted. He was the one who fired those arrows. I looked around and found Prim shaking while hugging her knees to her chest.

"Primrose!" I called. She yelped and looked at my direction. "Roni needs the blood." I muttered.

She immediately searched for the first aid kit and walked towards out direction. She kneeled down as I laid Roni on the ground. Prim gasped when she saw the wound on Roni's stomach.

She bends down and used a clean shirt to cover Roni's bleeding stomach. "Hold it." She ordered and I did as I'm told. I pressed down the shirt and Roni immediately grimaced from the pain. I used my other hand to hold her down while Prim searches for the blood bag she prepared using my own blood.

Roni is struggling and as I pressed the shirt more on her wound, she'll move as if in pain. Prim then went back and she cut the blood bag open and let Roni drink from it. As soon as the blood travels down her throat, he small wounds stopped bleeding and are now slowly healing. Roni drank more while Prim held it down for her. Some of the blood spilled from Roni's mouth but she's still drinking, she's way too thirsty. I removed the shirt and watched the miracle happens. Prim and I's eyes widened in disbelief, it feels like magic.

"It is really closing." Prim muttered and she covered her mouth in disbelief. Roni's stomach wound is slowly closing until it completely heals in a second after. I bent down and kissed Roni's forehead. "Thank God." I whispered to myself. Thank God she's okay.

Prim removed her cardigan and wrapped it around Roni's body while I then carried her again. Art climbed up from behind me and Matt helped him up. Prim slide her things back to the bag pack and put the strap on her shoulders.

"Run, Jack. Get her out of here." Matt tapped my shoulder and gave me a thumbs up. I immediately shook my head.

"No. Let's all run away from here." I answered. Matt looked at Lauren below again who's striving to keep the pack in bay, she's slowing them down so they won't catch up when we all run.
