Mitch walked into the room and his eyes quickly found his sister and lawyer. He sighed and went to them, happy to see their faces. "Hey guys. What brings you to this rotten hole?" He sat on the other side of the table.

They looked at each other then back at him. Todrick had to ask. "What happened to your lip? Do you need me to do something about it?... Legal-wise I mean."

Mitch waved it off. "No need, I'll be fine. Just don't forget to get me out when the time comes." He smiled. "So what happened that you both came? Usually it's one of you at a time."

The visitors unwillingly saddened. "Mom didn't want you to know so you wouldn't worry and I'm sure that girls didn't want it either, but it got to me and you know where I stand when it comes to family." Kimy looked at Mitch sadly.

Mitch looked from one to the other with puzzled look. "What's going on with my girls?"

Todrick sighed. "Kirstie didn't take your leaving as well as we thought." He looked down. "She started bullying Abby."

Mitch nearly jumped up. "She did what now?"

Kimy nodded. "Mom tried to help them, but Kirstie's basically you, she's very hardheaded." She rubbed her face. "At first mom thought that it was because you just didn't keep your word. But it was a bit of our fault. Now she blames Abby." She looked at her brother apologetically.

Mitch bit his lower lip thinking. "I have only few months. Can one of you take one of the girls? I don't want to separate them, but I don't want one of them to get hurt or something." He closed his eyes and laid his head on the table.

As he was lifting his head, a guard that went by pushed his head back to the table. "Little bitch." He snorted.

Mitch grunted but didn't do more about it. He knew it had no point. Todrick stood up to go talk to the guard, but Mitch stopped him. "Sit back down, it's fine. I mean what else would you expect from an ass that is so lonely, he makes fun of the lucky fellas?" Mitch waved it off.

The guard turned to him. "What did you just say?"

"You heard me." Mitch chuckled. He turned back to his sister ready to keep their conversation going.

The guard came up to Mitch and grabbed him by shirt. "Don't provoke me, Grassi, I'm still the superior in here."

Mitch rolled his eyes. "Don't forget to use that mean brain of yours - you can't touch me in this room. The witnesses are all around us." Mitch smiled. "In front my boyfriend, that's one thing, but these are impartial people and judge would not see a reason why they would lie for me." Mitch pointed out with a smile. "That's right the lawyery one. Now may I talk to my sister and lawyer." Mitch pointed to the other two people by the table.

Guard grunted and let Mitch go, pushing him away. "Just you wait till you're back in your cell."

Mitch looked at him with a cheeky smile. "Is that a threat?" Guard shook his head and left to check on the other visits.

Kimy gave Mitch a look. "Boyfriend?"

Mitch nodded with a happy smile. "My cellmate."

Kimy smiled. "I want to meet him so I can approve or tell you to shut it down."

"He should be getting out next week." Mitch said proudly. "This place teaches you how to play with people's strings without breaking any of them. But this one never dared to let me win until this point." Mitch chuckled. "Not the ability that I'm the proudest about, but why not be happy with the fun I have here."

Kimy shook her head. "I can't believe you are supposed to be the one looking out for me in the big scary world." Mitch smiled at her like a proud dork. Kimy didn't hold it and chuckled.

Todrick shook his head with a gentle smile. "Just don't test the strings too much. I would love to get you out in one piece, not in the casket. Not to be pessimistic, but this is a prison after all."

He wanted to pat Mitch's shoulder. "Don't, it's not allowed. Dude got stripped here about a month back. They wanted to be sure he didn't get anything from his daughter. I would love to hug you both, but I don't want another reason to listen to my neighbors before I fall asleep every night." Mitch saddened a bit. "I miss you all and I can't wait to get out of here."

"I'm sure that girls miss you too." Todrick smiled at him.

Mitch rubbed his face and looked at both of his visitors. "Did I fail as a parent? It feels like I did."

Kimy reached to take his hand, but stopped herself when she realized where they were. "You did nothing of that sort. You raised two amazing, warm-hearted girls for as long as you could. If anyone failed, it was the system that put you in here." She tried to make him feel better even though she knew there wasn't much that she could actually do.

"Time's up. Inmates get in line." A guard yelled from one of the corners of the room.

Mitch smiled sadly at them. "It was nice seeing you. Say hi to girls and our parents." He stood up and went to the gate to go back to his cell.

It took a moment, because not everyone got up as quickly as he did. But eventually he was back in the cell he shared with his boyfriend. "Hey." Aaron got down from his bed. "You look like your lawyer just told you that you will have to stay here till the end of your sentence." He sat Mitch on his bed and sat beside him.

Mitch leaned against him and closed his eyes. "I feel like it too." He murmured and wrapped his arms around his cellmate. "My kids are acting out in a way I hoped that wouldn't even cross their minds."

Aaron sighed. "And for some reason you feel like it's your fault. Don't think like it, there's nothing that would make this your fault. You did nothing wrong, not in raising them up, not in my point of view, not from point of your friends and family's view." He kissed Mitch's head. "You're doing everything the best way you can at the moment." He tried comfort his partner.
