Reno picked Kirstie up and sat beside Mitch. He sat Kirstie down and she immediately got comfortable. She liked him. "Well look at that. You wouldn't stand my boss who is my friend that you have known for a while, but you can stand my boyfriend that you just met."

She shrugged and looked at the man she was sitting on. "Maybe I just give off some different energy. No offence, Todrick."

Mitch's boss laughed. "I don't mind. It changed eventually."

Abby turned to look at the other lawyer. She waved at him and then snuggled back to her dad's chest. She looked at the man sitting beside her and her dad. Aaron looked at her and his eyebrows went up. "Abby?" He asked.

Her eyes widened as well. "Mister neighbor?" She asked right back.

Kimy chuckled. "You two know each other?"

Abby nodded. "We used to meet in front of the house, when mom and I were coming back from the park." She explained.

Aaron chuckled. "I will never forget the glare these eyes delivered when I accidentally once said Abigail instead of Abby." He couldn't believe it.

Mitch chuckled. "That she can deliver." He petted her back and kissed her head.

"What is Mister neighbor doing here?" She looked at her dad.

Mitch looked at the man sitting next to him and then back to his daughter. "Well, Mister neighbor used to sleep on top of me for about 3 years." He smiled.

Aaron blushed a little and smiled. Abby looked at him. "So, you two are..."

Kirstie cut her off. "They're dating, sis." Everyone laughed.

Kimy jumped up. "Mom, did you turn off the oven before you made the drinks?"

Nel looked at her in shock. "Yes, of course, you reminded me to do that like 4 times before we went to the kitchen." She chuckled.

"Little worrier." Mitch laughed when his twin glared at him.

"I dare you to say it again." She said with a chuckle.

Mitch raised an eyebrow. "Missed it?" The oldest twins laughed. Kimy shook her head and went by him to the kitchen.

Aaron shook his head and laid it on Mitch's shoulder. "You are like a kid and I mean you specifically." He whispered with a chuckle.

Nel walked to the couple and looked at them for a moment. Then a flash lightened up the room for a moment. "Aaah, this is going into a frame and on your table, no arguing." Todrick looked at his assistant.

Nel walked to him and looked at the phone. "Can you send it to me too? It should go beside the one we have of Kimy with Greg and girls." She said with a smile.

Mike walked to his son and sat beside him. "I don't know if you want to talk about it, but just know that you can talk to mom and I." He patted Mitch's shoulder.

Mitch smiled at him. "If you want to know anything ask away. What's the worst that you can hear that you wouldn't already know of. The most traumatic would be when my first cellmate died less than a meter away from me or when Aaron got hit here and there." Mitch kissed the head on his shoulder.

Reno looked at him. "Usually it was you tho." He mumbled and laid his head back.

Mike looked from Aaron back to his son. "What does that mean? Why was anyone hitting you?"

"Because it's prison. I have bruises on me even now." Mitch shrugged. "Don't worry, I'm fine." Abby laid snuggled little closer to him, pressing right on few of the bruises. But Mitch managed to keep himself together and not wince.

Aaron knew exactly why Mitch had bruises and he wanted to be pissed, but he simply couldn't. Kirstie turned to her grandma and eventually even went to her. Mitch and his dad talked for a while and Kimy went back to talking with Todrick and her mom. Aaron didn't know anyone besides Abby and Mitch who were beside him and Todrick who had 3 ladies talking to him, so Reno decided to stay put and after a while he fell asleep.

Nobody noticed at first, then Mitch looked at him and saw the closed eyes. He smiled and kissed the head of the sleeping man.

Kimy came back to tell everyone that the dinner is ready. Everyone started getting up, but not Mitch he stayed put. "Mitch? You coming?" She asked when she noticed him still sitting.

He turned his head to look at her. "I would very gladly, believe me that. But I don't want to wake him up. He's so cute and he's cuddling." Mitch tried his best to hide his smile, but he was failing very badly.

"Take him to our bed and let him sleep there. You need to eat and his back needs flat comfy surface." Kimy chuckled. "I'm not taking no for an answer."

Mitch sighed, but did what he was told. He gently wrapped his arms around Aaron's shoulders and knees. He slowly stood up and walked to the bed. He put the sleeping man in the bed and smiled. "Sweet dreams." He left to go to the rest.

Nel looked at her son. "Your boyfriend isn't joining us?"

Mitch shook his head. "No, the court session must have been a lot for him. He's out like a light and sleeping cutely." He smiled and sat down.

Nel smiled at him. "I'm happy for you." The rest nodded.

"And I'm very thankful for that." He kissed his mother's cheek.

She wrapped her arms around him and squeezed him tightly. "You're my son no matter what. And I'm happy for every win that you have. Including my granddaughters and your boyfriend." She rubbed his back and let him go.

They ate in silence and when they were done, Mitch went to his daughters. "Come here my little nuggets." He wrapped his arms around them. "I missed you and your hugs."

"We missed you too." They whisper-yelled.

Then they heard a silent creak of the bed. Kimy chuckled. "Your boyfriend seems to be awake."

Mitch shook his head. "That was him sitting up because he has no idea where he is or how he got there, but in a minute he'll be back in his dreams." He chuckled. "He isn't the type that would take 30-minute nap and that's it." He looked at his kids. "I can't believe how much you grew up."

They looked down and nuzzled to him. It felt just as nice as they remembered. They couldn't get enough, not after such a long time of his absence.
