Mitch sat in his cell, waiting for Todrick to come and get him. He wanted to hear some good news. He wanted to hear that he can see his little girls and hug them. He missed them.

He leaned his head against the wall behind him and kept staring to the one point where someone would be first. After few minutes he heard the door opened and jumped up. "Hello there, mister Grassi. Time to move you to the cell where you'll be waiting for your trail." The guard that came in said.

Mitch huffed and turned around putting his hands together behind his back. He figured that if he was going to cooperate, it would give him little points in the near future.

Guard cuffed him and took him to the other cell. "Can I have a moment with my client, please?" Todrick asked as soon as he got there. He wasn't informed about Mitch's transfer until the last possible moment - he couldn't do anything about it afterwards.

"But make it quick. The judge will be starting soon." Guard wasn't happy, but he knew he couldn't do much about it.

Todrick leaned to talk to Mitch and sighed. "I did my best, but it doesn't look good. They found it in your bedroom and it wasn't the smallest amount. I will do what I can, but I doubt that it will be enough."

Mitch smiled sadly. "It is enough already. No matter what happens please make sure that girls are safe. I don't really want them to see me like this, but if it becomes too much you can bring them." He wiped his face. "I promised Abby to be there when she wakes up and I was there barely a moment after she fell asleep. I feel like I failed her." He leaned his head against his hands and sighed sadly.

"Hey, you didn't. This isn't your fault. You made promised based on the information that you had. Nobody could predict that." Todrick said. He wanted to make Mitch feel better.

Mitch scoffed. "Since that officer came I felt like they would take me away and I still promised that I will be there. I felt like she was going to find something just to get rid of me some way. But when I heard that they actually found something, I didn't want to believe it. You know me." Mitch started pacing around with nervous look in his eyes. "If we lose this, I will go to prison for at least 10 years. Girls will be so big by then. They will be turning 14 after I will get out. I am going to miss the most important years." Tear slid down his cheek. "No matter what  happens. Please make sure that girls will be with my parents. My sister has enough on her plate and when I look at how my parents raised us, I believe in them."

Todrick nodded. "Hey, look at me. I will do my best and even if we don't win this, I promise you to make sure that I will protect them the best way possible. They will get the best care possible. Now focus on what we can do. There has to be a way to save you and we have to find it."

Before any of them could do anything more guard came back. "Time's up." They sighed and Todrick left through his bad feeling.

The trial went better than they expected, but not well enough to set Mitch free. The other side convinced the judge with the proof the police found, but Todrick managed to break the solid surface that prosecutor created. But he didn't make it through the whole thing. Just little doubts in judge's head that made him set the amount of years as low as he did.

Mitch was sad they didn't win, but he was happy that the time was this low and he would get to see his girls sooner than he expected. He wanted to be with his little baby girls, but he knew that he had no choice.

He was grown up. He learnt to accept little wins in times when it all could end with one big lose. He accepted what his life brought to him.

He was sentenced to 7 years in prison with possiblity of getting out after 4. The judge had his mind full of doubt about whether Mitch was really guilty or not, but he had to follow the evidence.

Girls were put to their grandparents on Mitch's side. That was win for Mitch as well. He didn't want his daughters to go to their grandparents on their mother's side, because he could clearly see how well they raised their daughter - drug addict and dealer, who wasn't willing to change anything for her own daughters.

He asked Todrick for only one favor: find out who put those drugs there and why. He really wanted to know why they chose to do that to him. He wanted to know the reason why they had to put him out of their game.

He also insisted that Todrick wouldn't fight the verdict, even though he knew that Todrick wasn't going to listen to him. Mitch knew that it would be hard for his family to hear that he's in prison and giving them false hope that he might get out sooner wasn't something he intended to do.

Todrick knocked on Kimy's front door and waited. He wanted to tell her the news - she couldn't come because of her own daughters. Lizzie was sick and Rossi wanted to be good 3 years old sister.

After 2 minutes, the door opened with Kimy's messy hair. "Oh hey. You're my brother's boss, right? What can I do for you?" She asked and tried to look less like a mess.

"I just came to deliver the news and the results." He smiled at her sadly.

Her face went white and her mind was left blank. She felt adrenaline fill her blood. "How bad is it? I'm guessing it's bad since he's not here with you." She let him in and walked to the kitchen.

Todrick put down his shoes and followed after her. She sat him by the table and offered him coffee that he respectfully declined. He waited for her to sit down, because he wanted to be sure that she has any sort of stability. He knew that it wasn't that much of a good news that he was about to tell her.

Once she sat, he knew there was no way back. "Look, I did what I could and Mitch knows it. He is going to jail, but not for as long as we expected. He didn't want to fight through all the process anymore and accepted what they gave him."

"But he is coming home, that's the point that I will focus on. What about girls?" He knew she was doing her best to stay calm and focused.

"That's where the goog-good news come in. They were put to your parents' custody. He said that he doesn't really want girls to see him like that, but if it's needed they can go see him." He really wanted to support her and make her feel better, but he didn't want to overstep any boundaries.

She took a deep shaky breath. "I can't believe this. He took it like a big boy and even then instead of worrying how he's going to survive there, he cares about those little girls." She said and looked down trying to hide tear that slid down her cheek.

She didn't know what to think. She was surprised by what happened and she had no idea how to feel about it. Someone put her innocent brother behind bars. "Look, he told me not to try to get him out, but I can't stop when I know that he's innocent. I'm going to find out who framed him and I'm going to get him out. I'm taking it pro bono, so there's no need to worry about payment. I want to get him out, especially now when I'm the one who failed in keeping him out of there."

She nodded. She was still in shock from the news and everything, but she did her best to listen to him. "Is there any way that I can help?" She asked. She needed to know what she can do to help her brother who was there for her whenever she needed him. She wanted to be there for him now.
