I woke up to a shooting pain spiraling through my head. "Ouch," I mumbled out loud. I felt a coldness pressing against my back, like a rough metal or cave-like texture. I opened my eyes, seeing I was, in fact, in a cave. I was sitting on a plush animal skin. The cave was decorated with all kinds of worn art and carvings etched into the hard surface. I attempted to stand but soon realized my hand was bound by a metal cuff attached to a chain that had been bolted into the cave wall. "Fuck." I muttered, pulling on the chain. Regaining some strength, I dragged myself to stand, yanking the chain as I tried to release it. The metal was digging into my skin as I grunted, trying to free myself. "Fuck you!"

I yelled at the inanimate object. I fell to the ground after a long failed attempt to escape. My wrist was bleeding, and my head was spinning worse than before. With the tiny amount of medical knowledge I had, I knew I had to stay awake. I most likely had a concussion, and I couldn't risk the brain damage from falling unconscious and possibly causing more damage. My eyelids started to grow heavy as my body suddenly became weak, the blood loss from my head taking over. I slumped down, and my arm was still straight up from the cuff. I heard shuffling from the entrance of the cave. I couldn't muster up the strength to fight back, and my eyes slowly started to close when I suddenly saw a familiar brunette.

Octavia.

A man was carrying her, and she was unconscious. "Hey." I shakily whispered. He laid her down on an animal hyde next to me. However, he didn't cuff her to the cave as I had been. I looked her body over for injuries as I could see her knee. The bone was poking almost through the skin as it was bent in an inhuman shape. The man eyed me for a moment before stalking back out of the cave, leaving us in the dark, alone. I tried to stay awake as long as possible, but my injuries slowly took hold of my body. My back and shoulders ached. I couldn't feel my hand, and my head was spinning with every attempt I had to keep my eyes open. I whispered to Octavia, slightly nudging her with my foot before my vision turned dark, and I was again unconscious.

I felt my shoulder being pushed as my eyes started to open. I saw Octavia's boot in my face as she continuously kicked my shoulder with her heel. "Hey! Wake up!" She whisper-yelled. I groaned, smacking her foot off of me. "Man, even being kidnapped, your still grumpy when you wake up." I rolled my eyes at her sarcastic tone, even if she was funny in light of the situation we had found ourselves in. Then, straightening my back, I looked up at the crusted blood that had flowed down my arm. The man who had brought us here wasn't anywhere to be seen, and Octavia was somehow in a chipper mood.

"What the hell happened, O?" I asked, checking to see if my head was still bleeding. Thankfully it wasn't. She shrugged, "I don't know. One second I'm marching off from yelling at Bellamy, and the next, I'm falling down a hill and waking up in this cave." I could hear the hesitation in her voice. I made a mental note to ask about it later. I skimmed her body over again, making sure she was alright. I was only a year older than her, but she was a little sister/best friend to me. I saw the man, I guessed had taken care of her knee, and he also had wiped the blood from her forehead. "Are you okay? Does your knee hurt or your head?" I asked her. She shook her head, "No. There's just a dull pain in my knee." I nodded my head, "That's normal. Good." We sat in silence for a while before I looked to Octavia, "We need a plan. He fixed your knee. When he comes back, he'll probably check you first." She nodded as I searched around for something we could use. I eyed a rock not far from her foot. "grab that rock, and don't let him see it." She nodded as I pulled myself up, accidentally reopening my head wound. I groaned, lifting my hand to the back of my head. "Fuck." I started to feel lightheaded, slumping down against the wall. "Nat?" I hummed in response. "Natalia! Don't fall asleep!" And like that, the darkness consumed me once again.

********

"Shit." Octavia cursed. Suddenly the masked man rushed back in, setting his spear against the cave wall as he walked over to Octavia. She was crouched down, her back facing the man. She could feel him kneeling behind her as she quickly spun around, slamming the rock hard into the side of his head. He swayed for a moment as she hit him again, rendering him unconscious. She scanned his body, then spotting a small silver key attached to a rope on his hip. She grabbed it, her hands shaking as she tried to unlock the tight metal cuffs. She could hear footsteps as she turned her head to see a small flicker of a fire at the entrance of the cave. Looking over to her unconscious friend, she worked harder at unlocking the binds. Finally, she dropped the key, not able to undo them herself, when a familiar face moved into her eye-line. "Octavia." Bellamy rushed over to her. "Bellamy!" She shouted as he pulled her into his arms, holding her head with his hands. "Get the key." She yelled, pulling back."Monroe! Watch the entrance." He started to unlock hers when she ripped her hands from his. His brows furrowed, "Natalia." She shook her head, gesturing to the unconscious redhead in the corner. "Oh my god," Bellamy muttered, running over to Natalia as he took the key, unlocking her cuff as she fell, him instantly catching her limp body. Finn and Jasper walked in behind him. "What happened?" Jasper asked as Bellamy lifted Natalia, handing her to Finn. "I'll help Octavia. Take her." Finn nodded, pulling her lifeless body into his embrace. He looked down at the grounder lying unconscious on the cold ground. Bellamy was able to unlock Octavia. She jumped into his arms, "It's okay. Your okay." He assured her. They pulled apart as he finally glanced at his blood-soaked jacket. "What the-" He walked over to Natalia, pulling her head up. He could see the baseball-sized gash protruding the back of her head. Blood slowly seeping out from the wound. "We need to get her to Clarke. Now!!" Bellamy shouted. No one saw the grounders eyes open as Finn bent down with Natalia in his arms to inspect the unknowingly conscious man. Octavia saw Jasper wearing a wide grin, "How did you find us?!" She yelled, running into his arms as he wrapped his around her shoulders. "Followed him." He answered, looking down at the grounder. She smiled, pulling back as Jasper kept a hold on her waist. "We should go. Before he wakes up." Bellamy looked at the still bleeding Natalia, who Finn was holding, still kneeling on the ground. "He's not going to wake up."
