Mismatches

*a few moments earlier*

Belle quickly stood up from the bed, as soon as she heard the loud sound of the alarm going off.

“What the hell is going on?” Claire asked, looking at her

“I have no idea!” Belle quickly spoke

“Oh god, do you think any of us did something?”

“I doubt it, they would not sound this alarm because of it, would they?” Belle stared at Claire, who worriedly looked back at her friend.

“Robert is not on physical conditions to try anything” Belle spoke again

“Well, he’s still Robert. We all know how… he is”

“No, he did not do anything…”

Clair was about to say something when both were interrupted.

And both incredibly surprised.

“Hey, c’mon!”

“ZOE?!” Their eyes widened

Zoe worriedly looked at them “I know this is a surprise and all, but this is all a crazy plan and we have to be real quick right now!”

Claire and Belle did not hesitate “Where to?”

“Follow me, we need to get Rick and David”

“And Robert?!” Belle immediately asked, following her

Zoe sadly looked at her “I could not do anything against Emma’s will. She’s got him”

Belle frowned, not quite understanding what went through her mind at the moment. If the fact Emma was willing to help them all or the fact she was with Robert and no one else.

Was she really willing to help?

“Why is nobody here?”

“Not for long” Zoe quickly opened the guy’s door “Emma made the alarm go off in this super guarded communications room. They all surely went there. We have very little time!”

“Zoe?”

“C’mon guys!” Claire quickly helped “Explanations later! Now let’s get out of here!”

“But…. Are you sure she already left with him? I don’t like that. Where is she? Where are they?!”

“C’mon Belle, let me tell you on the way. Right now, we are so much more useful out of here”

Belle worriedly followed them, as they hurried outside the huge building quite easily.

“HEY!”

Oh sh*t.

That was not part of the plan.

Now they thought they were out, someone who was passing by the back gates spotted them.

“Do you have any knife or gun with you, Zoe?” Rick immediately asked

“Just a pocket knife” Zoe whispered as the guy approached them with a gun.

“Shh, give it to me quietly” Rick, who had his back turned to the guy “So, at three, we run. Zoe, you can lead the way?”

She sacredly nodded “I think so”

“One. Two…” he suddenly turned back an threw the knife at the guy, hitting him right in the chest “THREE!”

“AHHH!”  

“C’mon!” they all ran away rushing into the forest, following Zoe.

“The deal was to meet her, a mile from there, twenty minutes after the alarm went off.” Zoe glanced at the watch “It was… a minute ago” She took a deep breath
