“How was that?”

Emma smiled at the agent, as she entered in his car “Everything is done. No one noticed my presence”

Robert half smiled at her “We don’t know how many are in the house either. We don’t have Ed here, to help in that kind of things”

“Rob, we have the cameras I set up in there, there are microphones incorporated in them, we have this laptop, should be enough for us to get a good idea of how everything goes inside” Emma spoke “Tomorrow night, we get in”

“Maybe we can see her, as well” He whispered

“Yes” She smiled at him “There is a good chance we can spot her as well” she took a deep breath “Let’s go back to the hotel and keep our eyes in this place?” she smiled

“Ok” he whispered, turning the engine on

“Are you ok to drive?”

“I’ll never be ok to drive in England”

Emma smirked “Seriously, Rob. Do you feel ok?”

“I’m fine” he whispered, speeding down the road

They soon got back in the hotel and it only took a few moments before they were able to take a look at Miller’s house, in the laptop they bought earlier that day, among a huge list of other things.

It was really late in the night, though.

They had waited for that moment so Emma could sneak inside their house and go unnoticed. No alarms went off.

She was a really good agent and Robert had to give her that.

Emma decided to go take a bath while Robert did not take his eyes off the laptop. Obsessively looking from camera to camera, trying to spot anything weird or even see anyone. He knew it was late in the night and everyone was probably asleep. Emma, of course, was not able to get inside the rooms.

That was too risky.

“Wow, already did that?” Emma asked, surprised, when she came back.

Robert already had the different divisions of the house designed. Well, everything he could see through what they had in those cameras, at least.

“There is more I can tell from what I saw” Emma sat next to him, on the bed.

“Ok, shoot” he whispered, putting down into paper everything she told him.

She smiled, leaning closer as he was concentrated on studying the place. She knew he was already forming a million plans to go inside and get his daughter.

She had a few, herself, but she knew no plan of hers could top any of his.

“We are alone, tomorrow, is that what you are thinking?”

“No” he quickly replied “I don’t believe there are many people living in that place.” He stared at Emma “Big mansions, many people, everyone has different routines and their own lives to deal with… you would notice more people’s presence in there”

“That’s hard when people are sleeping, Rob. Unless they snore out loud”

“Still” Robert stared at the laptop “I believe the both of us can deal with whoever might get in the way”

“Let me handle it” she touched his arm “You are still injured, Rob.”

He frowned “You do not expect me to stay in the car, Emma. Are you bloody…”
