Your PoV

"Will you help me find out who killed Jade?" You prompted.
"Yes, of course. But what do we do after we find out?"
"We get Jade the justice she deserves."
"You mean...kill them?"
He asked, unsure if you were serious or not.
"Yes." You said it like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"She wasn't human. Her body is if I'm correct, on the other side already."
He gave you an approving look.

"Plus we have no evidence, no suspects. Except for people who picked on her or bullied her in school. Which is like 90% of students in the whole fucking school."
Mads was still silent, letting you enjoy this detective persona more.

"If we go to the police they'll ask questions like why we didn't call them immediately or that there's no body so well look like we're delusional and that Jade just ran away from home or something."
You were now striding back and forth in the kitchen.
"Why are you so certain that we can make it? There's quite a big community of supernatural creatures living in this city including me."
"I'm just a human, however, you, my dearest have some powers that could be to use. And we can ask the forest."
He seemed to worry about the whole situation. But you couldn't let them get away with something like that.

"Yeah no, the forest is usually very quiet. And for the other thing, what powers do you exactly think I have?"
"Mind reading?"
He shook his head.
"Very good senses?"
"Somewhat. Go on."
"Don't be so humble. How about you convince them?
"How do you propose I'll do that?"
"You know...you'll use the alluring trick like in Vampire Diaries..."
"Oh, right. I almost forgot... But I could try it out..."
"Great!" You exclaimed, clapping your hands.
"So where do we start?"
"In the meadow."

When you two got there you started to look for some clues that could help you find the brain behind this.
As you were searching through the tall grass.
"I think I got something!" Shouted Mads and ran to your side.
It was a charm bracelet. You saw only one person wearing one of those. The girl that beat Jade the other day behind the ball shed.
"Do you think it could be her?"
You asked suddenly aware of the fact that now that you probably know who did it, you can't let get away with it.
Am I strong enough to take matters into my own hands, or do I just rely on someone that could do it for me?
You thought as you looked Mads in the eyes, trying to see in them some kind of emotion.
It was around noon so she would be definitely at school right now.
"Let's go." You said and got back on the forest path leading to the road.
"We don't know if it was her, but she certainly was there."

You two entered the school, catching a glimpse of the girl parting with her friends and going to the bathroom.
You and Mads followed her.
"You lost something." You said holding the bracelet up.
She stared at you terrified her gaze shifting back and forth between Mads and you.
"I...uh lost it." She whispered.
You looked at Mads.
He came closer to her, catching her by her neck.
"Did you do it?" He said in the sweetest voice.
"No." She answered blankly.
"Do you know who did?"
"It was Spence."
Her body hit the ground as he released her from the grip.

Running out of the restroom out in the empty hallway.
You didn't even know how this Spence looked like.
But Mads had to. Once he locked his gaze with some guy in a jean jacket. He threw a small net at Mads and started to run.
Mads hissed. You hurried to help him but he pushed you away.
It must be silver.
"Go!" 
Without a second thought, you went after him.
Spence headed to the forest.

"Stop!" You shouted and he slowed down and turned around to face you.
He reached to his pocket taking out his gun and pointing it at you.
"Why are you doing this?!"
"They're monsters! And so are you for helping him!"
He released the safety catch and put his finger on the trigger.

Suddenly, Mads jumped out of nowhere covered in burns from the silver.
Launching forward and catching the bullet.
It hit him in the shoulder.
Getting up he plunged at Spence knocking him down.
You tried to get your hands on the gun before Spence.
Quickly, you grabbed it.
"Stop it! Now!"
Spence backed up. Putting his hands up.
"You're not gonna do it and we both know-"
He was interrupted by the gun. The shot you fired hit him right in the head making his body fall motionless.

"Mads!"
You picked him up.
"Please, stay awake." He leaned on you for support.

Once you got to your house. You laid him down on the floor since he lost consciousness and you weren't able to move him an inch.
Clumsily you moved around the house to find the first aid kit.
Getting out the bullet and disinfecting every wound from the silver burns you wrapped every inch in bandages.
Hoping he would start to heal soon you stayed by his side wiping off the sweat from his forehead.

You sat at the kitchen counter playing with cereal in the bowl.
"Y/N?...Y/N..."
"Yes?" You were holding his hand in an instant.
"Come here." He said and kissed you, gently exploring your mouth.
"I love you."
"I love you too." You smiled at him.
A knock on the door interrupted the peaceful moment.
You opened the door to see the blonde girl from earlier.
"Watch out!" Shouted Mads.
You looked at him but the girl was faster.
A sharp pain shot through your body.
You felt your last breath leaving your body.

Another wave of discomfort took over your mind.

Somebody shook your shoulder and you stirred in the comfy blankets.
"Honey, wake up, you'll be late for school."
You recognized your mother's voice as you opened your eyes.
"I'm awake...I'm...Im not sleeping."
Wait.
You sat up straight on the bed.
"What?!"
"I know I said we will be back this evening but we wanted to surprise you."
She went on and left your room to get ready.
"So how did you enjoyed it here?" Asked your father who was sitting at the table reading the papers.
"It was good." You said quickly running to the bathroom to block out the light.

"How are you feeling?"
Mads raised a question from behind you.
"...good...but really...hungry?"
"It'll pass. Take this." He said and handed you the heart-shaped necklace.
He helped you to put it on. Suddenly, the sun didn't bother you anymore.
"Now to the hunger thing..."
