Bucky stopped as he approached the boat. The sun was beautiful this time of morning, all golden and warm. He took a breath of fresh air, stepping aboard. He went down below and found Sam. Bucky wondered what time he would've woken up. Sam seemed to be struggling with something, that's why Bucky was there. To help Sam. Sam glanced at him, giving a quick smile before turning back to what he was doing. Bucky came to his assistance.
"Push the stopper." Said Sam, looking at Bucky again and then away. Bucky did as he asked. He couldn't take his eyes off of him.
"Thanks." Said Sam, turning back to him. Bucky stayed rooted to his spot for a moment. Sam brushed off his hands. Bucky stared at him, a look of adoration in his eyes.
"What?" Asked Sam with a smile. A heartwarming sight to see, thought Bucky. He felt so lucky. Bucky smiled, shaking his head.
"Nothing." He replied, pulling Sam closer to him. Their lips met in a loving kiss. Bucky couldn't help but smile even wider, he loved Sam so much.
As they broke apart, Sam said, smiling, "So you came down here to kiss me, not help with the boat?"
Bucky laughed, his heart fluttering.
"Both." He said, pecking Sam on the lips before going round the other side. Sam was still smiling.
"Start loosening those bolts." He said, handing Bucky his spanner and going back to what he was doing.
Bucky grinned. "Got it."
