💛Lawless x reader💛

(Y/n) sighed happily as she looked around her new living room in the house she had just bought for herself with the money she had saved for the past few years. She was glad she would be able to live on her own without her parents pressuring her to study and work at the same time. (Y/n) knew her parents would force her to work with them if she didn't find herself a job, so once she graduated high school she looked for a place to live. And with the help of her aunt who was more than happy to help her favorite niece, (y/n) managed to find a nice place that was near her college campus. Plus, (y/n) wanted to follow her own dreams and find a profession that she enjoyed doing. After settling down on the couch she suddenly got the idea that she wanted to have a pet, she figured now that she had a place to herself she could afford to get one. Although, she wasn't sure what type of pet she could get that would be suitable for her and her lifestyle. She was going to be at school for most of the day and on top of that she was going to be really busy with school work so (y/n) wasn't sure if she was ready for her to own a living animal. She decided to think about it for the next few days before going to a few pet shops to see what kind of companion she could bring home with her. But after a couple of hours she couldn't find a single pet that caught her interest or that she was sure she could properly take care of. It wasn't until she came across a small hedgehog one day that she finally thought she had found the perfect companion.

She was sitting under a tree on campus eating a sandwich and going over her notes she had taken that day when out of the corner of her eye she saw a little hedgehog making its way towards her. She turned to see what the small animal was doing only to find that it was staring at her, well, he was staring at the food she was currently eating. (Y/n) decided to give him a piece of her food, she watched for a moment how happy he was while he ate the small piece of the sandwich. After she finished reviewing her notes (y/n) decided it was time to head home so she packed up all her belongings and stood up from her spot. She turned to say goodbye to her new friend only to find the little hedgehog looking up at her with tear filled eyes. (Y/n) was surprised but she felt bad that she was going to leave him here all by himself, so she decided to take him home with her. While she held her new friend in her arms she couldn't help but think how cute he was and how she had possibly found a pet she could handle looking after.

Once she arrived home she placed her new pet on the couch while she did some research and learned about what she would need to keep her new friend happy and healthy. Every once in a while she would glance up and find the little hedgehog running around going into every single room in the house or occasionally jump on the furniture just to look at the picture of her family. While she thought where he was going to sleep another thought came to mind, what should she name the little hedgehog? After a considerable amount of thinking she decided to name him Hyde since all the other names were either too long or they were just downright silly. (Y/n) decided to head to bed early since she had class early in the morning and she had no intention of being late to class. She set up a little bed for Hyde but he didn't want to sleep there, instead he ran over to her room and jumped on her bed. (Y/n) thought he was being cute and decided to just let him sleep with her for the time being.

Later that night, she was woken up by a headache she didn't want to get out of bed but no matter how much she tried to ignore the pain she just couldn't bring herself to fall asleep. So she got out of bed to get a glass of water and some medicine for this terrible headache. When she entered the kitchen and turned the light on, (y/n) was shocked to find a male around her age standing in the kitchen eating her food while reading one of her books she had laying around the house. He had spiky yellow-blonde with dark brown streaks with slim, dark red eyes and red square-frame glasses.

It was quiet for a few minutes as the two stared at each other.

(Y/n) was the one who broke the silence, she grabbed the nearest thing to her and asked this stranger what he was doing in her house. He was surprised by her actions and asked her to calm down before explaining to her why he was here in the first place. (Y/n) found it hard to believe that he was telling her the truth but once he reverted into his hedgehog form she believed him. And he explained to her why he had decided to approach her in the first place along with asking her if she would like to be his eve. She agreed mostly because she didn't want to be in the house all by herself and because she liked his hedgehog form. In the weeks that followed, the two of them got to know each other quite well. (Y/n) often took him to class with her, he would be in his hedgehog form in her bag and once class ended the two of them could eat lunch together in the courtyard. She really enjoyed his company and was glad she had decided to become his eve. Although, what she didn't realize was that she was slowly developing a crush on him. At first, (y/n) tried to push her feelings aside since she had a lot more to worry about than chasing after a boy who probably didn't feel the same way she did. Plus, at the moment she was busy studying for final exams and deciding what she wanted to do after graduating.

A few days passed, (y/n) was out shopping with Lawless one day when he suddenly asked her on a date. (Y/n) was taken by surprise and wasn't entirely sure what to say or do, she did have a crush on him but she wasn't prepared for this whatsoever. Even so she decided to go along with it and thought it could be fun, plus maybe she could get the chance to properly confess. (Y/n) did think it was strange to just ask out of the blue considering she didn't like the outfit she was wearing and thought she should at least go home to change. But Lawless assured her that she looked great and proceeded to take (y/n) out on her first ever date. She was nervous but she decided to focus on having fun, after all most of the places they went to were places she always wanted to go when she had the chance. Lawless knew she had been relatively busy and didn't leave the house much once her exams started so he wanted her to relax and enjoy herself now that she had nothing else to worry about.

(Y/n) had a lot of fun during their date. It had been awhile since she actually went out to do anything she enjoyed, plus, going to the zoo and then having dinner at a nice restaurant with someone else while on a date was better than going by herself. Although, (y/n) couldn't really find the right time to confess. It wasn't until they were making their way back home that Lawless asked her to wait for him for a moment and (y/n) sat down at a nearby bench. She thought it would be best to practice first and that was what she did.

" Right, I can do this. All I have to say is Lawless I really like you, please be my boyfriend."

What (y/n) didn't know was that Lawless had come back and was now standing behind her listening to her confession. He was pretty happy to learn that (y/n) liked him too and decided to confess as well.

" I like you too." came a cheerful voice.

(Y/n) jumped startled when she turned to find Lawless standing being her with a huge smile on his face. (Y/n) blushed and didn't know what to say until Lawless explained that the reason he had asked her out today because he wanted to tell her that he loved her. Of course, he didn't think that she would ever like him back but now he knew that she felt the same way. So he thought now would be the right time to ask (y/n) to be his girlfriend as well as give her the necklace he had left to buy earlier. (Y/n) couldn't help but feel both happy and relieved that her feelings were accepted, she didn't think that she would ever have someone special in her life. But now she did and she was really happy with how everything turned out for her.
