💜The mother x subclass! reader💜

(Y/n) was only seven years old when she became the mother's subclass, her mother had decided to kill both her and her father just a few days after their divorce. She didn't have anything to lose since she had lost pretty much everything after (y/n) left with her father, she couldn't keep the house she loved so much. She eventually ended up living with her sister until she decided to go after who she believed was at fault for everything that happened to her. (Y/n) had been in her room when she heard the gunshots from her father's room, she rushed to his room to see if he was alright. Only to find her mother standing there reloading her gun, as quietly as she could (y/n) made her way away from the room, down the hall, and towards the front door. She was only a few moments away from opening the door before her mother saw her and began to shoot at her. (Y/n) managed to get outside but unfortunately for her, their nearest neighbor was a mile away so she had to run as fast as she could to get help. She ran across the field of tall grass as her mother chased after her, (y/n) had been shot multiple times by now but she still continued to run as fast as she could. That is until her mother managed to shoot her leg that's when (y/n) finally fell to the ground, she tried to crawl away but she couldn't go on any further. She had lost lot of blood by now, as she looked up at her mother as she was about to finish her off when suddenly something pounced on her. The last thing (y/n) remembered was being lifted up from the ground before everything went black.

That was a long time ago.....

Now (y/n) was living a happy life with Freya, Gil, and Ray, who she loved spending time with. (Y/n) loved to play with Gil and Ray, she felt like she had somehow gained two older brothers and an older sister. She really loved Freyas wolf form, she would occasionally ask her to turn into her wolf form and play tag with her. When they grew tired from running around they would sit under the large tree that was in the backyard and they would eventually take a nap together. (Y/n) was happy with her new family but she did miss her father, she hoped she could see him again....one day.

She spent most of her time with Freya when Ray and Gil would go out grocery shopping. Freya was more than willing to go along with what (y/n) wanted to do, in fact, she thought (y/n) was going to be scared of her when she first became her subclass. But that wasn't the case, even though it looked like Freya was always angry, (y/n) wasn't bothered by her facial expression. The two of them would play dress up, have tea parties and Freya would occasionally let (y/n) braid her hair. Considering how young (y/n) was Freya was extremely overprotective of her and wouldn't let anyone she didn't trust go anywhere near her.

On one particular day, while (y/n) was drawing in the living room, Freya approached her and asked her to go and change her clothes. The reason being was that she was going to take her somewhere, (y/n) wasn't sure where she was taking her since Freya didn't really specify but she listened to her nonetheless. As it turned out she was going to be dropping her off at Mahiru's house for a few hours, he agreed to babysit (y/n) while she went off to take care of a few things with Gil and Ray. (Y/n) was a little sad they were going to do something without her and wanted to come along with them, of course, Freya cheered her up and promised to bring something back for her. During her stay, she got to play video games with Kuro, bake cookies with Mahiru, and take a nap with Kuro while he was in his cat form. Later that afternoon, Mahiru took (y/n) back home which confused her because she thought Freya was going to be the one who was going to pick her up later that day. When they arrived they ushered (y/n) inside were Freya, Gil, and Ray were waiting for her, along with the other servamps and their eves.

" Happy Birthday, (y/n)!!" everyone said in unison once the lights turned on.

(Y/n) was overjoyed that they had planned a surprise party for her and immediately ran up to Freya to give her a hug. This was the first time she had so many people attend her birthday party, she didn't have many friends back then so when her birthday rolled around she often celebrated it with her father. (Y/n) had an amazing time during her birthday party, her favorite part of the night was when they all had a water balloon fight, they did have water guns as well because (y/n) thought it would make things more fun. She was teamed up with Freya when the two of them were caught off guard by Lawless and Licht. Although, Lawless got ahead of himself when he proclaimed that his team was going to win. as a result, he ended up falling into the inflatable pool that Gil and Ray had set up for (y/n) a few days ago.

At the end of the night, they all gathered together in the living room to eat cake and watch movies for as long as (y/n) could manage to stay awake. (Y/n) was laying next to Freya who had transformed into her wolf form to make more room for her. As the night wore on, (y/n) became tired and started to drift off.

" Thanks for planning the best birthday ever, I hope we can do this again next year."

She hugged Freya and fell asleep.

Freya was glad she had come across her when she did, she had been wandering around with Gil and Ray looking for a place they could stay at. When they heard the gunshots they quickly made their way towards the sound, that's when she (y/n) being chased by her mother. She was glad she had made the right decision at the time if she hadn't then she wouldn't have such an adorable little subclass.
