They had barely gotten through twenty minutes of the movie when Kai suddenly appeared and joined them without being asked. Since Taehyun and Beomgyu were sitting on the large couch, the youngest lay down lengthwise on the smaller bench next to the three-piece sofa. They were all silent, just eager to watch the movie. But Taehyun kept letting his eyes wander to the hallway, hoping he might catch a glimpse of Yeonjun as he went to the bathroom or grabbed something from the kitchen.
Only he didn't come.
He just didn't show his face. So he tried to concentrate only on the film, twitching only slightly when Kai or Beomgyu were frightened.
Only when they reached the middle of the movie, the tall pink-haired man came around the corner, looking like you just wanted to fall in his arms.
Soft, warm and gentle.
"Hurry up, here comes the best part!" rushed Beomgyu, waving his hand as he put his legs across the lap of Kang, who was sitting in the middle of the three-piece couch. Somewhat perplexed, Yeonjun scanned the living room, but quickly realized that his two roommates had laid it out so that he had to sit next to Taehyun.
So with a sigh, he settled down next to him, who was just staring ahead at the TV.
Taehyun, who was already yawning due to the darkness in the living room and the comfortable position on the couch, tried not to let on that he had been hoping Yeonjun would join them. "Do you even like horror?" the Kang asked quietly in the latter's direction, had his hands between Beomgyu's lower legs because he was a little cold from fatigue.
Yeonjun rested his arm on the armrest, thus supporting his head. He squinted at Taehyun's hands, which he would have preferred to warm. "It's okay, I think I can stand it," he said, then pulled one leg towards him and put his arm around.
"And you?"
Taehyun looked only slightly in his direction, still avoiding looking the elder directly in the face. It was enough of his position to make Taehyun want to lean in his direction. "I like to see it. But ... don't worry, if that thing comes out of the TV, we'll just throw Beomgyu at it and run away." Smirking, he looked at his best friend, then rested his head on the back of the couch.
