Taehyun knocked on the room door, looking at Kai and Beomgyu who looked a mixture of lying next to each other and muddled into each other, but both of their gazes were fixed on the flat screen and intensely engrossed in gaming. "Breakfast is ready!" he let them both know, and retreated back into the living room.
"Like my mom..., as if I could pause in the middle of a game!" grumbled Kai quietly, nudging Beomgyu with his shoulder.
The latter only grinned.
"Then I should finish you off quickly," the older boasted, pushing buttons even harder, but still losing to the younger one. Snorting, he threw the controller on the bed, got up and left the room to sit down at the dining table in the living room, where his best friend was already sitting. Wearing a light tank top that accentuated his broad shoulders, which he tucked into his sweatpants, Yeonjun strolled past the others into the kitchen; he tore open the refrigerator, burying a hand in his pants pocket. A sigh left his full lips before he licked them as he couldn't decide between a milkshake and an orange juice.
Everything else was already on the table, because Taehyun loved to eat together, but he still seemed indecisive.
Beomgyu watched Yeonjun silently at first, observing him for a while, while Kai had already joined them at the table as well.
"Are you coming?" Beomgyu finally asked Yeonjun after he still wasn't seated at the table. At that, the black-haired man didn't notice how he was being watched by his best friend.
For Taehyun, it was still disconcerting that his best friend and his now boyfriend got along so well. He just realized that half a year was a huge leap in time and he didn't know what the two had experienced together. Dissatisfied, the brown-haired man pressed his lips together. He really didn't want to accuse Beomgyu of anything, but to him, the latter's crush on Yeonjun wasn't that long ago.
"Where did you put the chocolate crisps?", Yeonjun asked his roommate, which only further confirmed how weird it was that they were now living together. He rummaged in one of the cupboards, looking for the cereal he wanted.
Beomgyu stood up. "You're not better than Kai..."
"Hey!" Kai interjected.
But the black-haired man didn't listen, instead pushing Yeonjun aside to get to the hanging cabinet he'd been standing in front of and standing on his tiptoes so he could get to the farthest corner of the cabinet to hand him the chocolate crisps he wanted.
