Taehyun had taken a full four days to think about everything in peace. The speech of his best friend had hit him hard, but at the same time it had opened his eyes. He had had time to reflect on himself and had come to the conclusion that he needed to talk to Yeonjun if there was to be any kind of trust in their relationship and also in his friendship with Beomgyu. He had also talked to his colleagues at work, who had definitely advised him to clear up a few things.
Also for Taehyun himself.
Now he was sitting at the kitchen table across from Yeonjun, who for days had been pulling a face as if the world had ended. It was a frightening sight when the Kang recalled how little sympathy the then pink-haired man had had for Soobin.

"Yeonjun?" asked Taehyun, breaking the hour-long silence between them.
Yeonjun looked up from his black coffee into his boyfriend's big eyes. He couldn't help but keep thinking about it. Than to think of him sitting here while Beomgyu might be crying his eyes out at home. It had been a long four days and of course the Choi had been glad to finally hear from Taehyun, but the tugging in his stomach just wouldn't let up. The headache was constantly there and he gripped his forehead, groaning slightly.
"Yes?"
"Am I actually still an orange tulip to you?" The question sounded so casual, so inconsequential, as if Taehyun had just started a simple small talk, but actually there was much more behind this question.
"Sure," it shot out of Yeonjun, then he frowned. "You'll always be a tulip to me. Why do you ask?"
His gaze slid to the colorful tulips perched in a vase on the kitchen counter. Taehyun was indeed the tulip and that would never change.
"And ... does Beomgyu have a flower, too?" he inquired cautiously, hoping he was being honest with him.
Yeonjun considered, scratching his chin thoughtfully. "Probably ... a daisy." Again he shook his head questioningly. "Why do you ask that?"
