Taehyun was a little embarrassed when he let Yeonjun into his new apartment for the first time. Not because it was messy, because Taehyun had always been a very clean person, which was immediately apparent from the style of the apartment's decor. However, he was very conscious of his decorative choices and it would have been strange to take all the pictures off the walls or throw the flowers that reminded him of Yeonjun out the window so as not to look completely needy.
"Hi," Taehyun brought out, allowing Yeonjun to enter.
"I'm looking forward to see your apartment," the latter grinned, kissed his boyfriend intimately, and then walked past him into the plain apartment.
On the right was immediately a large, bright bathroom, while straight ahead you came to the bedroom of the budding psychologist. However, the Choi skipped this for the time being and went to the left, coming into the large living area, which consisted of the kitchen and living room. The walls were pearly white, merely graced by a few picture frames. The kitchen was a light wood with black countertops that gave the whole room something very modern. The gray sofa was large and the dining table, which stood against the wall, also looked cozy. There were still some documents there, as if this was where the Kang would spend most of his time. Even if he had an office, he usually stayed on the dining table.
But what immediately caught the eye of the pink-haired man were the many plants, also pictures of flowers on the walls. The bouquet was on the dining table, still in its full glory and wonderfully cared for, even if some flowers were already hanging their heads a bit. A single calla flower adorned the coffee table, and as Yeonjun walked up to the bouquet to run his fingers over some of the blossoms, he noticed that one particular flower was missing: the orange tulip.
"Did you want to get rid of it?" he asked with a grin, looking at the younger man who stood there tensely with his fingers clasped behind his back, watching him explore the apartment.
Taehyun cleared his throat, unable to look directly at Yeonjun, still possessing enough distance from his friend with whom he could finally be alone again since they had reconnected.
