Beomgyu typed in the code to their apartment door, opened it, and let Yeonjun enter first. The pleasant warmth that prevailed in their apartment immediately drove the chill from their limbs; at the same time, the younger Choi felt as if the alcohol was about to strike once again. Slipping off his shoes, he turned to Yeonjun with a small smirk.
"Need some help, old man?"
Yeonjun merely grumbled unintelligibly as he braced himself against the wall to get out of his shoes, in a high arc they flew through the wardrobe, but he simply left them and hung his jackets on one of the hooks, then trudged on into the living room without uttering a word.
Sighing, Beomgyu gathered the shoes back up and put them where they belonged.
"Drunk or not, he could be a little neater," the black-haired boy puffed softly, then followed the older into the room.
Tired and taken by the alcohol, Yeonjun dropped face first onto the larger couch, so that half of his long legs were still sticking out. He grumbled aloud once more, perhaps it hadn't been such a good idea to try to drink away his jealousy. After all, it wasn't in any guidebook that one should do such a thing. Admittedly, he hadn't read one either, and that would probably be the last thing he would do. Instead, he waved his free hand in the air while the other was tucked under his chest.
"Beomgyu-ah," he babbled, still waving his hand.
"What?" the younger man asked quietly, coming over to the couch.
Yeonjun looked completely wasted, and he didn't know why he had drunk so much. Gently, Beomgu put his hand on the Choi's lower back and frowned.
"Come on, Yeonjun, you should get to bed right away."
"Mhhhh," he grumbled like an offended kitten, turning his head back the other way, then trying to shake his head, not realizing it wasn't working in that position. "Alone," he muttered, then tried to shake his head again, raising his free hand and wagging his index finger in denial.
"What alone?" laughed Beomgyu softly.
It was already hard to understand his roommate sober, but in that state, it was like trying to read a manual in Arabic.
