After 45 minutes or so, Beomgyu had arrived back home with the promised medicine, however Yeonjun was no longer in the living room. Therefore, he went to his bedroom door and heard that he was on the phone. Either with his brother or with his boyfriend and didn't want to disturb him, so he hung the small bag of medicine and vitamin juices on the handle and retreated to his own room to get rid of his street clothes. He changed into a pair of dark blue sweatpants and the gray hoodie he had from Yeonjun. He then returned to the living room, curled up on the couch by tightening his legs, putting the hoodie over his knees, and placing his chin on it while watching a random sitcom on TV that made him giggle at times.
Yeonjun's phone call ended after a few minutes, then he opened the door to the room, only to see the small plastic bag hanging on the handle. With a slight smirk, he took it down and walked into the living room, from which the sounds of a sitcom could already be heard. The fake laughter of an audience mingled with Beomgyu's giggles, so a little later the elder Choi was standing between the kitchen and living room, holding up the small bag.
"You really shouldn't have."
"Why? Are you feeling better yet?" asked Beomgyu, looking up at him. "If you don't need it anymore, we can save it. You can always use medicine," he returned, looking back and forth between the TV and Yeonjun.
"I think your soup etched away my stomachache," he joked, rubbing his stomach demonstratively before sitting down next to the black-haired man. "Thanks anyway," he said, setting the small bag down on the small table.
"Yah!" Beomgyu retorted, playfully offended. "Not everyone can be as gifted a cook as Taehyun!" He poked the black-haired man in the side after he sat down and smiled at his thanks. "At least you can say thank you, if not please."
Yeonjun rested his long legs on the small table.
"I can say both after you drilled that into me," he smiled, watching the show on the TV. "I guess my brother just hadn't been persistent enough in his parenting."
"Did you talk to him on the phone?" asked Beomgyu, slipping his legs out of his hoodie so he could lie sideways on the couch. As usual, he rested his head on Yeonjun's lap and looked at the screen. Then he turned his head so that he could look at Yeonjun. "Your brother loves you too much to be stubborn," the 24-year-old chuckled.
