Once they were standing a bit apart and outside the bathroom, Beomgyu gave the two blue-haired men another look and chuckled.

"So, you definitely can't take Soobin home today," Beomgyu joked behind his hand. "Because I don't think Jaemin will leave very much of him."

Smiling slightly, Yeonjun couldn't quite get a handle on the chaos in his head, even though he tried to wash it away with alcohol. "Then I guess I'll have to find someone else," Yeonjun teased as he held the glass in both hands, again waiting for a cute reaction from Beomgyu, who was now even more open than usual, especially after the alcohol that was poured into him non-stop.

"Well, tell me who you like. I'll be your wingman today, just like before," the black-haired man said, letting his gaze scan the room but then pointing his index finger threateningly at Yeonjun's chest. "But keep your hands off Jeno!" Beomgyu warned, but lost the feigned seriousness in his face as he looked up into his roommate's face. The words Yeonjun had said to him on the couch came back to his mind. The expression in his eyes had changed and he took the tip of his finger from his chest.

Yeonjun also looked at him, would have liked to say something mocking or teasing, but it was as Renjun had said.

He had been right, with almost everything he said.

So was Soobin.

How could others, some of them people who didn't even know him, be so right?

Slowly Yeonjun shook his head, the tingling sensation continuing to carry into his fingertips holding the cold drink, and he would have loved to kiss him right then and there, but it wasn't the right time. Instead, they stood there like two statues, looking at each other as if they were in a trance. As if they were alone at the party.

And Beomgyu lowered his eyes.

It was so hard to be a good person when you had feelings for Choi Yeonjun. He definitely had to be careful with the alcohol, but luckily it was Kai who demanded his attention.

"Beomgyu Ahjussi!" he shouted, deliberately using the Korean expression for an old man.

"Yah! Do you want to die?" shouted the one addressed, turning to the youngest. The other two babies, Chenle and Jisung, were just screwing around with Soobin's equipment.
