Since Kai would probably not be home until the evening, the two roommates had ordered something to eat. Beomgyu had been surprisingly calm, all the while probably having to process that he was now actually in a relationship with Choi Yeonjun. He didn't even know what he was so nervous about, wandering from one spot to another. Of course, this didn't just pass the former pink-haired man by, and he noticed how tense the younger man was that he was opening the same drawer at least three times in a row.
"What are you looking for? For your mind?" asked Yeonjun therefore amused, was just about to take the wrappers out of the little bag and spread them on the table. A new bouquet of daisies was already in a fancy vase on the dining table, casting a faintly sweet scent into the air.
Looking at these, he had to smile before turning his gaze back to Beomgyu and he sat down.
"Nah, I think I left that one at uni today," Beomgyu replied with a sigh, straightening up and looking to the older man at the dining table. "Or generally lost it there."
He walked over to the table to sit down, grabbing his chopsticks and his portion. Shaking his head, he began to eat, but after a while he looked at the black-haired man next to him, watching him chew or when he shoved a new piece of meat into his mouth.
"Did you feel ... weird at first, too?" asked Beomgyu finally.
Yeonjun, stirring his ramen to cool it down a bit, then blew on it hard again before resting his cat eyes on the younger man. "What do you mean?"
"With Taehyun, I mean."
"Do you mean because of the relationship?" asked Yeonjun chewing, then took a sip of water. "Sure it's weird at first, you're my best friend and...we're in a relationship, it's naturally...different," he shrugged slightly. Again Yeonjun stirred in the bowl. "Besides, it was different with Taehyun."
Beomgyu tilted his head questioningly.
"I think...," he began, then reached for one of the napkins and wiped the corner of Yeonjun's mouth with it, as if they'd been carrying on the relationship for several years, "usually people start with friendship first."
