The stuffy air and loud music came straight at the 26-year-old when he entered the familiar club. Girls and guys lolling on the dance floor, smooching around or just jumping; some people sitting at the small tables drinking whiskey and others standing around alone. In the same way, Yeonjun was alone today, feeling almost like he used to and letting his gaze wander. Not to look for prey, but for Soobin, whom he should meet here.
Eager looks were at his back, especially with the outfit he was wearing today. You could see his honey brown skin through the small slits and the boots his feet were in were also eye-catching.
Choi Yeonjun looked like his old self, except that his hair color was not the light blond or the soft pink, but pitch black.
When he didn't find the blue-haired Soobin at his usual spot at the bar, he wondered if he wasn't too early after all, or too late, and Soobin had already plunged into the crowd. But he immediately put that out of his mind, knowing that the bunny was actually shy.
Slightly perplexed, the handsome Korean sighed and dropped onto one of the stools at the bar, was immediately eyed by the female bartender he had gone home with before.
Yeonjun ignored her gaze, still looking over the many heads.
"If it isn't Choi Yeonjun alone," the dark-haired girl murmured, cleaning glasses and almost trying to undress him with her gaze, "I haven't seen that in a while."
Probably the first thought that came to her mind was that he was probably back to old habits, resuming his bad boy image and thus seeing a chance to end up in bed with him.
Yeonjun didn't answer, trying to avoid the pick-up attempt and turning to the side. "You could give me a vodka orange in the meantime," he growled, cat eyes searching for a bright blue in the process.
Since Beomgyu told him he wouldn't be joining him later, he didn't look around for his boyfriend, even though he found himself glancing at his phone frequently to know what time it was.
"Of course," she said, preparing the drink he wanted and placing it in front of him, "enjoy it."
With a grateful smile, he stirred the liquid with the straw, looking at the people passing by. It was strange to see Daisy now from different eyes, not being interested in anyone and not looking around for someone he would like.
