"And then he just beat the crap out of him, regardless. Banned from the Daisy for at least a week," Beomgyu told his old acquaintance Do Hanse after explaining why they lost track of each other back then. "Believe me, that was actually totally creepy, but it made me laugh so hard!" He sat with him at the bar, holding his banana liquor and twirling the glass between his fingers, admiring the mix of black top coat and blond hairline. His gaze fell on the piercing on Hanse's lip, then he reached for his smartphone and held it out to his counterpart. "But we could exchange numbers, then we won't lose track of each other next time."

"Sure," the rapper said with a grin, reaching for the proffered cell phone and typing in its number, which Beomgyu then called afterward so Hanse would have his number listed as well.

"Well, then you best sit here and I go briefly for small tigers," Beomgyu informed him and hopped off the bar stool.

He then looked for the line to the restroom and got in line, bobbing his head in time to the music as he waited for the people in front of him to finally move on. Suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder, almost cried out and wanted to punch his attacker on the chin, but he still paused when he saw that it was the tall pink-haired man.

"Easy, big guy, or you'll spank everyone here with your wrestling skills," Yeonjun teased, holding Beomgyu's forearm with which he had lashed out.

"Pff. I'm not a horse!" the shorter one snorted, shaking off his hand to place his own on his beanie instead and pull it lower over his head as he avoided the pink-haired one's gaze.

The latter smiled gently.

"Having a good time?" Yeonjun tried to strike up a conversation with his best friend, whose expression had immediately turned somber upon seeing the older. "Or did I just ruin your mood?"

With his lower lip pushed forward, Beomgyu stood there, not wanting to let the pink-haired man see that his expression was offended. "Nah. Everything cool. Ran into Hanse again earlier," he told him, but his mind wandered back to their argument. Arguing with Yeonjun was ... different from arguing with Taehyun, who usually always backed down quickly. Reconciliations with his best friend were definitely more emotional. And thinking about his encounter today, Beomgyu turned back to Yeonjun. "You know what? You're right. The house rule is stupid, let's just forget about it."
