It was way too late nang maramdaman ko ang pagtama ng matatalim na bato saaking binti as I immediately rushed down patungo sa ibaba ng banging itinalon ng baliw na si Vaughn.

The sharp studded stones were all soaked wet from the heavy rain, a thing that didn't helped me at all as I slide down.

"Vaughn!! Vaughn!!!"

Sigaw ko as I didn't mind the heavy rain pouring all over me and soaking me as well. The waves are getting more and more violent as strong winds push the roaring waves through the boulders.

The freezing sea water splashed through me and clouded my sight, but I still wasn't sure if Vaughn was somewhere near me. Hindi pa siya umaahon.

Shit. This is bad.

I shouldn't have listened to Matthew. This was a bad idea.

"H..How did you find this?"

Maigi kong tanong kay Matthew as he handed me a very familiar thing. My eyes pressed onto his palms as he showed me a silver necklace with my golden wedding ring on it.

"Let's say you lost it, and somebody decided to keep it." He said as he looked onto me leaving me all confused.

"But this wasn't his after all, so nangmagandang loob ako, and I decided to return it to you." He continued as he slid the necklace onto my palms.

I looked onto him confused. He was just smiling back.

"I saw Von placing it on the table and he forgot to take it back. I knew it was yours." He spoke. He then walked onto my side and looked at me.

Natigilan ako as his eyes pressed onto me. What's with the emotions on his purple eyes?? It seems it's trying to convey me something I can't really explain.

He seemed weeping, but persuasive.

"Do what you should do about it. Only remember about yourself. You had been chasing the wrong people into your life. Its never too late to start over." He calmly said.

Matthew then held my shoulder as he passed through me making me stood hopeless. He then paused and mumbled onto my ear.

With his breath and voice haunting my ears, my eyes started to weep.

My mind keeps on scrambling ideas onto what is really going on right now. But suddenly I heard large splashing sound mula sa hindi kalayuan.

My mind went blank out of extreme relief nang makita kong umahon si Vaughn. But I wasn't really fully relieved as I witness large waves pulling him off way too farther from the rocks.

"Vaughn!!! Dito!!" I screamed and waived my hands. He heard my voice and turned around despite the angry waves trying to drown him.

He then raised his hands from the water to show me the familiar thing.

My heart pounded fast as time slowly stopped as I realized he tried to save our wedding ring. My eyes went from angry to full of tears as I mask off my emotions.
