Vaughn's Point of view

"Seriously. Matagal pa ba? Its been like 2 hours."

Pasenya na pero sobrang naiinip na ako sa kahihintay sa lugar na ito. Its been fucking 2 hours nang huli kaming nag check in sa airport na ito kasama si Stella.. and not to mention that "pabida" na si Matthew.

Geez. Its been also 3 days ng huling sinabi ni Admiral Maris na makakasama namin tong mukhang lampang taong ito.

Hindi ko naiwasang kalampagin ang rear ng aking maleta gamit ang aking paa, na kumuha sa atensyon ng dalawa sa hindi kalayuan.

"Is everything alright, Captain Vaughn?"

Matthew formally asked upon the noise getting his attention.

Hagalaz's Point of View

"Like you want it. Six-twenty five sharp."

I said over the line habang hawak ko ang voice button ng aking wireless headphone. I didnt even paid much attention sa mga crew at receptionist ng airline company while they process my booking and check-in data.

"The same flight as well?" sundod kong tanong sa pinaka makapangyarihang babae sa buong Xavierheld Military sa kabilang linya.

"Here's your boarding pass and your passport sir."

With the gentle and calm voice of the lady receptionist, I moved my sight towards her as she calls my attention.

"Considered it done." I said over my headset as I get my pertinent documents from the receptionist.

"Sir Hagalaz?"

I took off my eyes from the cafe's window pane inside a busy aiport as I heard a deep voice called my name. Napatingin ako as the waiter handed out the tray with a medium sized eco coffee cup towards my table.

"Hot Espresso, right? Do you want some sugar on it sir?" he asked as he smiled.

"No." I coldly replied making him feel intimidated.

Hindi na nakaimik pa ang waiter at dali-daling umalis saaking table. I started to grab the coffee and take a sip on it.

The warm and bitter taste of black sugarless espresso lingers through my mouth. For a reason I cant stop staring through the blue skies.

Same clouds passing by through the same skies. I wonder if he can also see these things up?

My wandering thoughts came to an end as I felt my phone vibrated through my breast pocket. Without any hesitations, I quickly unlocked it.
