rosa's alarm blared at 5am on april 14th, making the ravenette groan whilst she whacked her phone to turn it off

"roooo," gina whined. "i don't wanna."

"neither do i," rosa wrapped her arms around her fiancé, neither of them opening their eyes yet. "but i do wanna get married."

the latina opened her eyes to see a smile on gina's face, her eyes still shut.

"i do too," she grinned further, "and i need to look good when i do."

"you already look amazing gines, you always do." rosa said before she kissed gina's lips

"i love you," gina smiled as she opened her eyes. "just me, you, ig, and the people were close to, it's gonna be great."

"it's gonna be perfect," rosa wrapped her arm tighter around gina and placed her head back down on her pillow

"ro, you know we can't go back to sleep. the wedding's in 8 hours and we have so much to do," gina tried to get away from being tucked in rosa's side. "we can sleep tonight."

"we can... but we won't," the ravenette smirked

"we will if you don't get up right now."

rosa was sat up in bed in a matter of seconds, going over the plan of the day with gina before she left the bedroom to go and shower

"morning iggy," rosa smiled when she picked iggy up from darlene's a few hours later. iggy had stayed with darlene last night, so that rosa and gina could be up early, and was staying with her again tonight

"momma!" iggy smiled. "i'm gonna wear my dress," she beamed

"you are, and you know what else you're gonna do?"

she paused to think before responding, "no."

"you're gonna be the flower girl remember, where you put all the flowers down the aisle," she told the girl again, even though they'd been over it almost everyday for quite a few weeks

the girl smiled as she ran inside to tell darlene about how she was a flower girl. the ex detective could hear her daughter telling darlene everything she could remember about being a flower girl

rosa picked up the box she'd bought with her and made her way inside the house, taking her boots off when she entered

"are you still okay to take the flowers to the venue later?" rosa asked

"course i am, and i'll meet you there at 12.30 with iggy so she can practice being a flower girl." darlene smiled as she took the box of flowers off rosa. "how you feeling?"

"kinda nervous," the latina answered. "but also kinda not because it's gina. i know she's your daughter, and i know you've known her her whole life, but i don't think you realise how... perfect she is. i love her so much."

"you don't sound nervous, darl," darlene chuckled. "say that at the wedding and you'll be fine."

rosa smiled weakly at the woman, "thanks." she looked down to face iggy, "you ready to go now? we need to go get you changed."

"yeh! in my dressss," iggy yelled as she ran out the door and into the front garden

rosa laughed at the child before saying bye to darlene and putting her boots back on and eventually following iggy out of the house.

—————

"i'm home," gina yelled into the house, champagne and orange juice in her hands. "hi baby girl." she smiled as iggy ran over to her from the couch
