I apologize for the lack of updates. It's been so long... 6 months I think... uhm, oops?
Me and Tech sat in the cockpit of the ship. We took the smaller ship attached to the Havoc Maurader; it was cramped, and stunk from the lack of cleaning and use, but I was with Tech and was about to see Ahsoka again, so I had no room to complain. (I don't think this is a thing but pretend it is)
Switching a few switches, I see Tech swivel his chair over to face me
"We have an hour till we arrive. In the mean time, I would very much so benefit if you would elaborate on what it is exactly we are doing?"
I sigh, pinching the bridge of my nose. I sort of forgot that I never explained the whole gray Jedi thing to the bad batchers... well, I didn't really grasp the concept myself completely. It was...perplexing.
"The gray Jedi are a group of force sensitive individuals that don't agree with the siths vengeance and angry, hate driven methods, but also do not agree with the Jedi's brainwashing and goody two shoes way of handling problems. they believe in the complete balance between the two, understanding that it's hard to achieve, but the only way to bring balance. You cannot have the good without the bad, in the exact same way you cannot have darkness without light." I explain with a heavy voice, trying to piece the pieces together in my head and formulate sentences that would actually make sense to this highly intelligent individual before me.
"I see."
I could tell he very much did not see. He was confused with the concept; but I wasn't really sure how to help with that. I was too.
It was a really hard concept to grasp after all, the force, but especially the three different areas of it. Not everything is black and white and this was one of those things you just had to accept, even if it didn't make sense.
I'm sure Tech and his science brain had an even harder time grasping the concept.
The only reason I searched for them was answers. I felt compelled to, as soon as I heard about them. They seemed like the key; the one thing the Jedi nor the Sith had touched on was trying to learn or understand the other side. The gray Jedi examined it and tried to get the common ground, rather than annihilating eachother.
"What are we to do once we get there?" Tech asks me, his Amber eyes sparkling with his childishness.
"We are going to look for an old friend." I state
"Ahsoka, you remember her?"

As we arrive on the surface of Alderaan I allow myself to slump in my seat, rolling my shoulders and cracking my knuckles. Not only was that a long flight, but it was also very stressful to get onto this surface. Alderaan was far too close to the core for my personal liking, at least as of now, but it's where my old friend was hiding so I suppose it was definitely worth the hassle.
"This friend of yours..." techs up beat voice cuts through the eerie silence, causing me to glance over at him.
"Are they by any chance a togruta?" He raises a brow, and my gaze immediately snaps to the window of the ship; gazing right back at me is a pair of sparkly blue eyes.
I turn back to Tech and grin.
"Why yes, yes she is."
And with that I was sprinting down through the cockpit and out down the ramp, rushing to greet my best friend. Ahsoka stood there with a faint smile on her face as I fling my arms around her form, and although I feel her stiffen, I can tell she is enjoying it by the adorable smile Tech's face held as he leaned against the ramp.
