Sick Day

SHIP: tyunning (taehyun & kai)

start:

"tae are you sure youll be okay with him?" Yeonjun asked for the 50th time

"ill be fine hyung go have fun with binnie and gyu" Taehyun said ushering Yeonjun out of his and Kais shared room

"dont get yourself sick trying to do everything for him taehyun" Soobin yelled from the living room as the three exited the dorm

"mmmh theyre so loud" Kai groaned

"i know but its quiet now so go to sleep ningkai" Taehyun said quietly

"hyunnie can you cuddle with me" Kai pleaded quietly

"i cant hyucka i have to go get your medicine in 20 minutes" Taehyun said as he leaned down and moved Kais bangs out of his face and checking his forehead

"youre still really hot kai should i check your temperature again?" Taehyun asked softly

"no i just wanna sleep" Kai groaned again he tossed and turned for a couple minutes trying to get comfortable before beginning to sob

"whats wrong kai?" Taehyun said after noticing the youngers tears

"why does moving hurt so much id rather be dead right now" Kai whined

"i know it hurts ningning but youll get better soon" Taehyun whispered as he softly played with the maknaes hair

Kai closed his eyes trying to relax his body slowly falling asleep. After about 10 minutes Kai shot up and tried to quickly get out of bed, his legs were weak though and he collapsed to the groaned in pain

"hyucka!? are you okay? what do you need?"
Taehyun asked concerned

Kai didnt have enough time to answer as he quickly began choking and coughing trying desperately to grab the trashcan before throwing up into it and sobbing loudly

"shhhh its okay love" Taehyun started softly "here come on lets go take a bath" he finished as he picked kai up and carried him to the bathroom

"sit here for a minute and throw up in the toilet if you need to im going to get the water ready" Taehyun said as he sat Kai on the floor next to the toilet as he walked over to the bathtub and started the water making sure it was the right temperature before letting it fill

"im going to undress you now ningkai" Taehyun said before taking the youngers shirt off of him and standing him up to remove his pants and boxers

"careful kai step in slowly okay?" Taehyun instructed as he helped the younger into the water

"hyungie it hurts" Kai whined

"what hurts baby?" Taehyun questioned

"everything" Kai groaned

"i know im gonna go get your meds soon" Taehyun assured him

Taehyun began to rinse the younger off pouring the warm water over his back and chest whilst carefully holding him up trying to keep him from slipping

"taehyunnie im g-gonna" Kai began choking loudly

Taehyun rushed to grab a bucket and put it under kais mouth just before the younger began throwing up.

Kai threw up 5 more times before almost collapsing into the water luckily Taehyun was still holding him up.

Kai sobbed before speaking in a hoarse voice "hyunnie it hurts so much make it stop"

"i would make it stop if i could love" Taehyun said as he began rubbing the youngers back soothingly

Taehyun continued to rinse the younger off before unplugging the water and standing the younger up and wrapping him in a towel before lifting him up and carrying him into the room

Taehyun quickly dried Kai off and pulled a sweater over his head before laying him down

"okay kai lay down and watch tv while i run and get your perscription if you need to throw up the bucket is right here and theres water bottles on the table right by the bed"

"okay hyungie" Kai said as he closed his eyes exhaustion taking over him

Taehyun quietly left the dorm locking the door before jogging to the pharmacy to get Kais medicine and running back to the dorm

"Hyucka im back" Taehyun said as he walked into their room only to see the younger peacefully asleep

"poor baby" Taehyun said quietly as he checked the youngers forehead

Kai soon woke up and Taehyun helped him sit up and drink water

"here kai take this okay?" Taehyun said gesturing for the maknae to open his mouth as he placed two pills inside

"be careful" Taehyun said handing the water to Kai again allowing him to drink some as he swallowed the medication 

"im tired hyung" Kai said as he rubbed his eyes

"go back to sleep then ill make you some food for when you wake up" Taehyun said as he played with the youngers hair

Kai groaned before rolling over in the bed "noooo lay down with me" Kai whined as he patted the space next to him

"okay fine" Taehyun sighed as he crawled into bed next to Kai

"hyungie?"

"yes ningkai?"

"thank you for taking care of me" Kai said before closing his eyes and going to sleep
