It was the 5th week of classes and he was already failing

"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU" his mom screamed tightly grabbing his hair "youre such a disappointment" she accented each word with a hit

"im sorry mom i-i havent been able to focus its too hard for me i promise ill try harder" Beomgyu cried trying to get away

His mom didn't listen and continued to beat Beomgyu until he was on the verge of passing out

"god i need a drink" his mom said throwing him down "wheres your money"

"wh-what no i worked for that"

she kicked his face "did you not hear me WHERES YOUR FUCKING MONEY" she yelled

"my cards on the table" Beomgyu sighed

His mom took his card and left

Beomgyu curled into a small ball and began to cry reaching around for his phone

"what Beomgyu" the voice said through the phone

"t-tyunnie" Beomgyu sobbed

"Beomgyu i told you to stop calling me" Taehyun said tiredly

"im sorry" Beomgyu sobbed "help me please im so sorry"

Taehyun sighed into the phone before hanging up

"im so fucking stupid" Beomgyu sobbed to himself "why did i call him of all people...of course he doesnt care anymore"

Beomgyu cried for another 20 minutes before hearing the doorbell ring, he quickly wiped his face and walked to the door

He saw Taehyun standing there drenched in rain

"you came" Beomgyu sniffled

"of course i did" Taehyun said softly "you called" he gently pulled Beomgyu into a hug

Beomgyu hugged Taehyun back tightly and began sobbing into his neck

"do you wanna tell me what happened?" Taehyun asked

"my mom beat me again" Beomgyu sniffled

Taehyun stayed quiet and embraced Beomgyu tighter just letting the older cry eventually moving them to the couch and sitting Beomgyu on his lap

"im sorry" Beomgyu spoke up "i shouldve called someone else i know you dont wanna see me anymore"

"its fine Beomgyu"

"tyunnie...just for tonight can you call me..."

"you want me to call you beomie?"

"mhm" Beomgyu mumbled hiding his face in Taehyuns hoodie

"just for tonight" Taehyun sighed

Beomgyu smiled softly and hugged Taehyun tighter

"where did she hit you beomie?" Taehyun asked softly

"everywhere" Beomgyu sniffled "and she took my money"

"for what?"

"she went to drink and kept kicking me until i told her where my money was"
