start:

It was a stormy night and Hueningkai was taking a shortcut through an alley on his way back home from work when he heard rustling from up ahead, carefully he crept slowly as he continued his walk, hearing hissing noises and sounds of stray cats fighting as the rain poured harshly

As Kai came close to the exit a group of hybrids who were fighting spotted him and ran away leave a injured and crying smaller hybrid behind in the downpour

Kai being the caring person he is approached the hybrid and bent down to its level poking it slightly to see if they were alive, they hissed in reply and scaredly moved away from the human

Kai sighed before walking away and into the 7/11 that was conveniently across the street quickly grabbing medical supplies and some instant ramen making it and grabbing a bottle of mineral water and checking out

Huening quickly ran back to the alley and placed the bag next to the hybrid "here please patch yourself up and eat ill bring you some more food tomorrow morning" He said as the hybrid quickly began eating the ramen

Kai soon walked away to let the hybrid eat in peace and continued his walk home, once he arrived he took his coat off and walked into his bedroom to get changed before going to sleep

The next morning Kai got dressed and grabbed an extra coat before heading out, he stopped at the 7/11 again and grabbed himself an energy drink as well as more food water and a juice for the unknown hybrid

Kai soon arrived at the alley only to see the hybrid curled up asleep he quickly placed the bag down and put the extra jacket on top of the sleeping hybrid, and walked the rest of the way to work

At the end of the day Kai walked through the alley again and found the hybrid sitting up in the same area they were sleeping in now wearing Kais jacket and was currently drinking the juice

"is there any kind of food you want specifically?" Kai asked

The hybrid simply shook its head no

"okay... well im Kai by the way, whats your name?" He asked carefully

The hybrid remained silent

"ohhkay then dont worry you dont have to tell me i was just curious, anyways i'll go get you some food now" Kai said awkwardly before making his way to the hibachi place next to the 7/11

Kai soon ordered the hybrid fried rice as well as something for him before going into the 7/11 and buying a couple waters and two dr peppers, and went to pickup the food

Once he arrived back at the alleyway he sat down across from the hybrid "do you mind if i eat with you?" The hybrid shook their head no and Kai quickly pulled out their food containers handing the hybrid their food, which they quickly began to eat. Kai sat and ate with them in silence pulling out a dr pepper and chugging some of it down

Once Kai began to stand up to leave the hybrid grabbed his hand and rubbed their head against it to show gratitude "youre welcome ill see you tomorrow morning, unless of course you'd want to come with me-" The hybrid panickedly shook their head no and backed away

"okay well, it's supposed to rain tonight so put your hood on and try to stay dry ill be back tomorrow morning" Kai smiled and waved before walking away

The next morning came painfully slow for Kai as he was kept up most of the night worried about the hybrid as rain continued to pour down, he himself getting scared and jumping at the thunder and lightning he was scared about what couldve been happening to the poor thing outside
