Crystal didn't have to wait long for a reply from the Nameless Street. She was headed back to her apartment and stopped at their normal meeting place to find a crumpled up piece of paper sticking out from the rocks that littered the ground surrounding the fence. To any other passer by it looked like a regular every day piece of discarded trash.

Crystal was expecting either the usual one word response from P or cute informative illustration by Lala. To her surprise it was neither but a note written by Lala, who never had written to her before and only communicated through her drawings. It looked to have been written in a hurry.

Lala, along with most of the kids and young adults on the Nameless Street were illiterate. However she and some of the older kids, P and Shion included, had some basic knowledge of the connection between sounds and their spelling, at least enough to phonetically spell some things and give the rest their best guess.

Rain would probably be on this same level but since now spending over half her life in the business setting of Club Heaven, Crystal not only a proficient writer also knew some basic conversational English, Korean, and even a little Chinese. Although the only time she's ever used these skills were inside the club when dealing with foreign costumers and your average night life tourist.

The letter Lala had written contained the most words she'd ever seen the girl write and even though strokes were missing and words mixed up she could comprehend it. If the leaders of S.W.O.R.D. were meeting then something big must be going on, Rocky had never mentioned anything.

He probably didn't want to worry her? Or still didn't trust her completely yet? Her mind had a bunch of questions racing through them. Would Smoky be going? Should she try and go even if Rocky hadn't mentioned it to her?

In the end she decided to head back the way she came, back towards the busy market street and club. It was already going on one in the morning, in fact the club didn't close till three on the weekends. I guess it made sense now why Rocky had decided to close the club early. If he had decided him and the Rascals were going to attend this S.W.O.R.D. assembly, who would've watched the club. She picked up her pace in hopes to catch them before they'd left.

She rounded the corner and to her dismay the neon signs of the club were dark only a small light that hung next to the entrance remained lit. Making sure her suspicions were correct, she unlocked the door and headed down the stairs.

Mimicking the lights outside, everything was turned off and only after she turned the nearest light switch on was she able to see the rest of the club floor. Everything was neatly packed away, chairs were up on tables, the music system was tucked away and the bar had been completely cleaned with everything refilled as if they were going to have a drink rush at any moment. They were definitely not planning to re-open when they got back.
