The rays of sunlight were beaming through the window, making her open her eyes. She looked here and there, trying to get herself familiar with the surroundings.

"Uthgayi tum. Dara dya tha mujhay tumne." Yumna removed the drip since it was done.
(You woke up. You had scared me)

"Kia hua tha?"
(What had happened?)

"Behosh hogayi thi. Aur kia hona tha."
(You were unconscious. What else would've happened.)

She glared at her and sat beside her.
The door knocked and Dr. Ahil entered. Hoor's eyes widened seeing him.

"I am sorry sir. Main ghalti se behosh hui thi. I promise main extra shift krke ye hours pury krdugi."
She worried at his sudden arrival because she knew he was here to give a lecture.

( I am sorry sir. I fainted by mistake. I promise I'll complete the hours with an extra shift)

Yumna facepalmed herself in her mind at her stupid comments while Ahil sighed.
He crossed his hands at his back and went near her bed.
"Maine kab kaha hai jan bujh ke hui theen."
(When did I say that you fainted deliberately?)

He brought his hand towards her face, and she backed a little. He frowned and held her face in one hand while placed other on her cheek and then forehead. Hoor's eyes widened at his behaviour.

"Kha nahi raha main apko Dr. Hoor jo asy pichy horahi hain. Bukhar toh nahi hai, nashta kia tha?"
( I am not going to eat you that you're going backwards. You don't have temperature, did you have breakfast?)
She frowned, made a face and nodded in no.
"Dupeher me kch khaya?"
She nodded in no.
(Did you have something in lunch?)

"Hmm. Dr. Yumna taqat ka injection laiyye, kamzori se behosh hui hain ye."
(Hmm Dr Yumna give her an injection of vitamins. She fainted due to low energy)

He ordered Dr.Yumna. Yumna looked towards Hoor because she knew how afraid Hoor was of injections i.e she hated them. Although she was a doctor and had to inject many people in a day but she herself was scared of having injections.  She didn't hate giving it to others nor was scared of that, but getting it herself? A big no. She had reasons for it; though.
Fear of needles wasn't only for non-medicos. Medical professionals had it too.

Ahil nodded his head satisfactorily at her horrified expression since in these three months of internship, he had seen her telling patients multiple times how she feared injections. Yumna brought the injection and gave it to Dr.Ahil. He sat beside her and held her hand.
"Par drip to lagwa lee na maine."
She tried to remove her hand from his grip. It was a relief she wasn't awake during the drip otherwise she would have felt afraid the whole time she had it inserted
(But I had the drip.)

"Is waqt apka doctor main hun. Khamosh rahiyye."
(Right Now I am your doctor. Stay Quiet.)
He opened the injection and inserted at the back of her hand. A tear escaped her eyes. It didn't hurt much but she couldn't do anything about the phonia that was in her heart. Ahil kept the suringe aside and looked towards her who was looking down. She didn't lift her eyes.

"Ye islye takay ainda apne maamle me asy laparwahi na ho. Khud apna khyal ni rakhengi to patients ko kesy dekhengi?"
(This was so you're not careless about yourself next time. If you don't take care of yourself , how will you take care of patients?)

"Apna khyal rakhiyega, Kal chutti le sakti hain aap."
He said in a serious tone and left the room.
( Take care. You can have a leave tomorrow.)

"Mujhay toh laga tha tu cheekhain marygi injection pe."
Yumna sat beside and laughed. Hoor also laughed at her comment. She didn't have control on the fear but had on her reactions.
(I thought you'll scream at the injections.)
