Her thoughts were disturbed by the entrance of Arsalan in her room again and she glared at him.
"Juice door rakh, phir baat krty hain." Hoor took the juice bottle and put it away, and looked back at him.

"Aunty to ghar hi nahi ayeen, phir proposal kaisy asakta hai?"
(Aunty didn't even come home, how can the proposal come?)

"She called Ayaan bhai. She wanted to ask him before sending the actual proposal and coming here."

"Then why didn't Baba or Bhai talk to me? Why did they send a clown?" Hoor frowned. The facts were getting hard to digest.

"My answer is No. He always points out my mistakes at work, reprimands me. I don't like him."

"He's your senior there. What else do you expect? He's just treating you like a junior, it's ok if you get insulted by him everyday more than others but still, that's a senior junior relationship. You can't judge him in personal life by this."

"But he is a short tempered person."

"Dekh Hoor, he is educated and respectful. Have you seen how he respects dad? He is a good friend of Ayaan bhai as well, and you know how much Ayaan bhai loves you. He doesn't have a problem with this proposal. It means he is a good person otherwise Ayaan bhai would never consider him for you."

This time Arsalan tried to make her think in her own way and succeeded in making her at least consider the proposal.

She smiled thinking of the last line and Arsalan shook his head in negative. He knew she must be thinking something evil.

Shazia was cooking in the kitchen when the bell rang. Wania opened the door. It was Hoor. They sat and talked.

"Aunty I came to know about the proposal. I was about to say yes but decided to talk to you first. I have always seen Dr.Ahil as a strict senior and I think he has anger issues. I am not sure about his personal life but at the hospital, he definitely has, especially for me. I am not scared. If I face some abuse, I won't stay but I still felt like since it's a matter of my whole life, I should talk to you."
"Hoor, he is my brother. I know him. He definitely gets angry and is short tempered but he isn't abusive. He respects us all and is loving. But If he shouts at you or takes his anger on you, he will apologize. Also, if he does don't be scared. Be strong and tell him you won't tolerate it. Also, you can complain about him to me or mama anytime, we three can definitely fix the stubborn doctor, No?" Wania laughed at the end, making others smile too. Hoor was relaxed now. She came to talk before her shift. She hadn't seen him since his proposal came.
"Did you ask him?"
"Yes. He said yes." Hoor nodded but was somehow still confused. She left after a few minutes to the hospital.

Hoor was standing outside Ahil's office in the hospital. It was her break and he was checking a patient. She had to give a file to him, discuss it and also ask him something. It was going to be her first encounter with him after the proposal. She went in a few minutes later and he motioned her to sit. After discussing the file and work, she took a deep breath.
"Did Aunty ask you before sending the proposal?" Hoor asked all of a sudden and Ahil nodded in yes.
"Yes."
Hoor nodded and left his office, she only wanted to ask this.

Raima's lecture finished and she left the class in a grumpy mood because of her professor who scolded her and some others in front of the whole class. They had forgotten to submit an assignment. She sat in her car and turned it to Hassan's office instead of home. They had met a few times after Nikkah, and were a lot more formal than before but they never visited each other's offices in these 2 months and only their very close work colleagues were aware that they weren't single. They preferred meeting at a peaceful place. But today they had no plan so she had to meet him there. She stopped at a restaurant and packed some lunch. It was 12:38 pm.
