"Kate?" Mel and Ferrow called out as I stood there, looking at Carter in shock while he stood there looking at me like a fucking idiot.
"Ooo." Mel covered her mouth in shock as Kate looked up at Carter then back toward us.
"So wait-"
"Y'all are together now or..?"
"Because the two of y'all were just about to go on a date no more than an hour ago?" Ferrow knitted her eyebrows in confusion as she pointed between him and I and Mel did the same while I stood there feeling like a complete joke.
Carter smacked his lips as he looked from me to them.
"Man, what?"
"Come on now, Ferrow.."
"You of all people know I want your stubborn ass sister but do y'all see how she be doing me?"
"There's a reason why we're not on our date right now and everybody here knows why." He looked at them with hooded eyes, trying to get them on his side before reverting his attention back to me.
"Just let me talk to you, ma." He warned and I shook my head in disgust as anger shot through my body.
He had me fucked up.
I'd waited out here for him, trying to right all of my wrongs for what I'd done to him tonight and for the passed three years but here he was doing exactly what I'd already expected of him anyway.

Before he or anyone else could even say anything else, I quickly came down the stairs, losing all control as I made my way over to him and swung my hand back as far as I could.
SLAP!
Everybody gasped as I smacked him as hard as I could and when I did it, I instantly regretted it as he slowly turned his head, licking his lips angrily.
"Kai!" They all screamed at me while I looked up at him in disgust and he leaned up against his car now, saying nothing else as he clenched his jaw tightly.
"Kai, please just let us explain this all." I then heard this clueless ass bitch say to me and I instantly turned my focus to her, ready to beat her ass anyway.
"Nope. Stop, Kai." Mel spoke quickly as her and Ferrow ran up between us, breaking us all apart from each other.
"Everybody just chill out, it's obviously all just a misunderstanding." Ferrow went on saying but it was far too late as Carter pushed himself up off of his car.
Coming up to me quickly, I tried backing away from him before he snatched me up roughly, pulling me hard toward the house.
"Stop, Carter." I spoke in fear as he continued pulling on me and I reluctantly followed, trying my hardest to snatch away from him but he had the tightest grip on my shirt.
