"Aight."

"Everything is ready to go."

"Lighting is finished, camera is focused and I just need to set up that backdrop." I told Ferrow as she touched up Kate's hair.

"Okay, she's ready too." She went onto say while Kate looked up at me and I nodded in approval.

"Definitely ready." I smirked as I held my hand out to help her up out of the director's chair.

"Do you feel ready, ma?" I asked her as she took my hand and I guided her toward the set up.

"Totally."

"Just a little nervous though." She admitted, obviously shaken up.

"Don't even worry about it, we're going to guide you the entire time." Ferrow walked up, saying exactly what I was going to say to her.

"Fa'sure."

"Just relax." I calmed her, pushing a loose string of her hair behind her ear.

"Thanks, Carter." She smiled and I simply nodded, walking away from her as Ferrow came in, doing her final touches.

She began to place K on the tape to make sure that she was staying in the middle of the backdrop that was now in place. She then fluffed her hair some more to make sure that it had enough volume to be portrayed as such for the pictures.

Watching as they finished up, out of the corner of my eye, I could see Kai scrolling her phone with an attitude while Mel simply watched us closely from the sidelines.

"You look great, boo." Mel encouraged.

"Thanks." Kate smiled widely, making Kai look up.

When she did, she watched and said nothing before she soon went back to her phone. I couldn't help but to laugh at her hostility. It was making me mad but I couldn't do shit but laugh.

And after talking to Ferrow about what was going on with her, I couldn't help but to think she was just jealous.

Of what though? I didn't even know nor could I understand.

But Ferrow had explained to me that Kate wouldn't be able to come around their house much anymore because Kai wasn't her biggest fan. She didn't want a fight breaking out or Kai's stubborn ass attitude scarring her off.

So we'd opted for us all to just have to see each other outside of the crib or simply just at mine.

Scoffing, I turned my attention back to Kate as she posed and Ferrow got behind the camera. I watched closely as Kate began to pose like a natural.

"Damn." I couldn't help but to say as I watched all the playbacks. Ferrow turned to me with a smile before she went back to snapping pictures. We could both tell that Kate was obviously well experienced, she was doing her thing.

We'd continued like this, getting shots in for about an hour longer before Kate was finally finished.

"Oh my god, these are all so nice." She rambled on as we began to show her the pictures on the playback screen.

"I literally love every single one. Even the off guards."

"Girl, especially the off guards." Ferrow butted in and they both smiled.

"Look.." I pointed out as Kate's eyes sparkled in one of the photos and I knew the edit for it was going to be crazy.

"Wow." Ferrow shook her head in disbelief, scrolling through the photos.
