Ai's POV

I looked at my cousin as she walked through the restaurant with her head down and shades on, she went up to where I was seated and slid into the booth."Hey girl.... what's up with those shades?" I asked, she sighed and took them off, I let out a gasp as I looked at Rays swollen bruised up face.

"Oh my gosh what happened?!" I asked reaching out to touch her cheek but she flinched and slapped my hand away, Ray quickly placed her shades back on.

"I got into a fight with some bitch while I was working."

I raised a brow." This is the second fight you've had at work, I'm beginning to think that you're the problem." Ray is known for being a very disrespectful person who's always fighting somebodies child, I'm not surprised that she's gotten into another fight with someone, and would appear that she definitely didn't win, she got jacked up pretty badly.

"It wasn't my fault."

"Hmm is that so?"

"Yes!" She waved her arms around." That Bitch attacked me, it's not my fault, she was with this guy and ou girl he's soo fiiine." She said almost dreamily, I giggled.

"So you got beat up for flirting with her man?" I guess being a hoe runs in our family, the women in my family can't help it whenever we see a gorgeous man, we must have him no matter what.

"Okay first of all I didn't even know they were dating Ai, you should've seen them at the restaurant they were acting like complete strangers around each other, they hardly spoke, the guy was on his phone most of the time, so I tested him out and started being a little flirtatious and he began flirting back with me so that made me think they weren't together." She shrugged, I listened intently wanting to take in the tea she was spilling, that couple seemed weird, I've never heard of a couple acting like complete strangers towards each other and not all boo'd up and in love in a public place.

"But at the end you ended up being wrong, because she really handled yo ass." I said letting out a giggle, she sucked her teeth and threw a sugar packet at me.

"Not funny, I almost lost my job because of her."

"Hmm typical you, not taking the blame for the shit you cause." I said, Ray never owns up to the problem she causes, she's an unrepentant stubborn person, and I have no idea how me and her get along so well with all these faults she has.

"Anyways I'm going to ignore that-" she picked up her menu off the table and started looking through it." What's been going on with you and your love interest, still going strong I hope?"

I bit the inside of my cheek at her question, Dave and I are doing good but not as good as how we used to be, It's very complicated even I don't understand where we stand, that argument we had a few nights ago really got him upset, but it's not my fault he needs to clear up where we stand."We're doing wonderful." I lied.

"Girl please, you're such a terrible liar." Ray said flipping through the menu.

"And how do you know that?"

"Your left eye twitches when you lie, we're practically sisters I know when you like sweetie." She said causing me to roll my eyes, nothing can go passed this women.
