The next morning I rolled out of bed expecting Dave to be asleep right next to me but he wasn't, I frowned slightly, I couldn't believe he left in the middle of the night right after having sex with me, for the first time ever in our relationship I felt completely used, he's never done something like that before, leaving without saying a word, usually he'd tell me when he's heading out. I rolled my eyes and went to prepare myself for the day, I'm going out to brunch with my girlfriends and I couldn't wait, I'm going to push what Dave did in the back of my head and think positive, I refuse to allow his actions ruin my day.
I took a 30 minute shower and went to apply makeup, after I was done I got dressed and grabbed my mini purse and keys, I left out the house locking it behind me and got into my car, I started my car and drove in the direction of the restaurant we'd be having brunch in. After 20 minutes I arrived at the restaurant, I parked my car and walked towards the entrance immediately spotting my friends seated outside at a table."I guess we're eating outside." I said to them catching their attention, they both gasped.
"Ouu girl you look amazing." Ray complimented, I smiled and we greeted each other with kisses on the cheek.

"You didn't have to snap on us like that Ai." Luna said causing me to laugh, I greeted her as well the same way I did with Ray and took my seat at the round table.
"How you been Luna? I haven't seen you in forever." I spoke.
"I know girl I've been great just really busy."
"Mhmm busy with a new man." Ray said smirking while taking a sip of her wine, I looked at her shocked, she began smiling widely which hinted that Ray was correct about what she said.
"Wow really?! Who is it?" I said leaning forward.
"Now now what we have isn't serious yet so I'm not going to get into any details and get my hopes up, but after years of fantasizing about him I finally have him as mine." She said dreamily, I smiled at her, I was happy for her since she's been single for so long due to a situation that occurred between me and her first love which caused them to break up, after that whole mess you would've thought me Luna wouldn't be friends no more but she saw that it wasn't my fault and understood, but that was in the past and she was willing to let it go.
"I hope he's the one Luna, honestly, but what's his name?" I asked picking up my menu and reading through it, after what she said next had me a bit surprised.
"His name is Dave." She said with a smile, I furrowed my brows, I pray it's not the Dave I think it is, their are a billion people with that name, for all I know she could be talking about a Caucasian man named Dave.
