Y/n was just your arvaeg otaku. She spent too much money on manga, otome games, figures, body pillows, and other things most people would find a waste of money. Her loving parents had tried to talk to the girl about her addiction but gave up when they realize she could be doing worse stuff than spending her money on fictional people.
So when she spent a hundred dollars on a prototype Kimetsu No Yaiba dating game no one batted an eye. Her family remembers the squeals of excitement that came from y/n when her package arrived. It wasn't weird to them when y/n spent all day locked in her room playing the game. However when the second day rolled around and she hadn't stepped out of her room to use the bathroom or eat her parents got worried.
They gently knocked at her door but when they heard no noise from inside they became even more nervous. Eventually, y/n's dad broke the door down but there was no y/n inside. There was no evidence found in her room to show where y/n had gone. The computer couldn't be accessed as all it would show is a glitch game screen.
