Takemichi's POV

"The fight is tomorrow." I said

"Yeah. Before that, come with me Takemicchi." Chifuyu replied

"Huh? Where to?" I asked but he continued walking and I followed. We went to the over pass where we talked with Baji-kun in the other past. I saw Kaede-chan standing and looking at the cars.

"I'm sorry for calling you all of a sudden." Chifuyu said

"What is it, Chifuyu?" she asked boredly

"I will ask you one last time. Please leave Valhalla and don't get involved with delinquents." Chifuyu said that made the girl click her tongue.

"Huh?" She said

"Please open your eyes and look who's using who. As your family, I don't want you to get hurt. We did some looking into things and found out that Kisaki is a pretty nasty guy. That's why you have to leave that group!" He said

"What are you saying? Didn't I tell you not to get involved?" She said

"Tomorrow, if the battle already starts. There's no going back! You'll be an enemy of Toman for real! Even if Valhalla has numbers, most of our members are stronger! You'll be my enemy too!" Chifuyu exclaimed

"Chifuyu, didn't I tell you that I'm not leaving. I still have things to do that you won't understand. I'm a part of Valhalla now and we're going to  crush Toman tomorrow." She said

"Chifuyu" I called

"Do you mind if I talk to Kaede-chan for a moment?" I said

"What is it, Takemichi-kun? Are you also going go convince me like he did?" She asked

"I would but I know it would be pointless. To be honest, I just wanted to ask why are you going this far?" I asked

"..."

"What is your reason for risking your self like this?" I added

"Do you remember when  I asked you if you ever loved someone?" She said

"Yeah"

"I have someone too, it was Mikey-kun. I remembered how he saved me from a group of middle schoolers when I was in elementary. I was thankful and I admired him too."

"..."

"Even if we barely ever talked back then, over time I fell for him."

"..."

"But my feelings were not reciprocated. He loved Y/n first and I tried to accept it. Of course I was jealous but what could I do? She was everything that I wanted in me. Strong, smart, beautiful and respected. To say the least she was the perfect girl and I know I wasn't."

"Kaede-chan."

"Then, Mikey-kun started to push me away and would always ignore me when I try to talk to him." She said in a low voice

She doesn't know the reason why Mikey-kun did that so she blamed Y/n-chan for it.

"I'm doing this for Mikey-kun and Chifuyu. Don't trust her too much, that persona is just a mask. She hides many things that you don't know." She said

"Kaede-chan, I'll trust who I want to trust and I trust her. I don't know why you think Y/n-chan is so evil but I hope you learn the truth soon" I said

"Also" I touched her shoulder and looked at her.

"Please be safe tomorrow. Chifuyu treasures you since your his family. And like his friend, I don't want him to be sad if something ever happens to you." I said and let go of her shoulder and walked away.

The memories of Chifuyu-kun crying over Baji-kun's death hurt me too. I don't want to see him like that again so please, at least stay alive for him, Kaede-chan.

"I see" Mikey-kun said while sitting on top of the jungle gym.

"When I was walking home, I saw a bunch of kids cornering a girl. I just saved her once but she kept following me like a dog. I didn't mind it and just let her be. I also talked with her from time to time and that was it." He stated

"I'm sorry I couldn't convince her to quit" I said

"It's not your fault. There's nothing to be done if she doesn't want to back down. She chose to do this and there's nothing we could do." He said

"The fight is tomorrow. Toman's members are now in battle mode. I've made up my mind. As I said, her safety wouldn't be guaranteed in the fight. If she attacks me or Y/n-chin I won't hesitate to take her down too." He said

As the president of Toman and as someone who loves Y/n, Mikey-kun had already decided...

Musashi Shrine| Evening

Mikey's POV

We called all the members to the shrine to have our meeting. With Y/n-chin by my side and Ken-chin who's a little bit in the back, we walked towards the stage and faced the crowd.

They were silent and were ready to listen.

"The pre-battle meeting for our battle against Valhalla will now begin!" Ken-chin announced

"Thank you for gathering here today. We're going to clash with Valhalla tomorrow. They're the ones who started this. There is nothing for us to gain." I said

"We are outnumbered by 200 people but we are stronger. Tomorrow we will crush Valhalla who foolishly waged war against us and hurt our members!" I declared

"That's how we fight our battle!" I shouted and many cheered.

"Toman! Toman! Toman!" they all cheered

"Y/n-chin, Ken-chin. Did I act like a proper President?" I asked

"This cheer should be the answer." Ken-chin said

"You did well" Y/n said with a smile.

I have given you a chance to live but you're wasting it for something you believe. I hope you won't regret the choice you made, Suzuki Kaede.

You chose the wrong enemy to mess with. Toman will win.
