Minerva suppressed the urge to smile as she heard the boy behind her huff. They finally reached their destination, "Millies" -- a clothing store that specialised in muggle and wizard wear. They made it through the door, that's when she heard someone call out her name.

"Oh dear, it's been far too long, I see you've brought someone with you." said Millie Matthews, a former classmate of hers. A petite black woman with a pink afro and hazel eyes, she wore a pair of blue overalls, with a white t-shirt underneath. She had a pink measuring  tape and multiple needles with threads flowing around her.

She stuck out her hand to Severus, "Hello there, I'm Millie, the owner of this store." She chirped, smiling widely at him.

Severus eyed her hand for a moment, then Minerva nudged him forward, he took her hand, "Severus Snape," he said, barely being able to finish his sentence before being pulled in for a hug. Minerva watched as the boy visibly stiffened.

"Well, I'm assuming he's why you're here," Millie said, looking at Minerva and then continuing, "Oh don't look so glum, we'll have you looking fresh in no time," she added while looking at Severus.

Minerva smiled.

"I can doll him up as much as I want right?" she said, lighting up like a child on Christmas.

Minerva nodded, "Yes you may 'doll him up' as much as you'd like, I trust you."

"Oh Goodie, today must be my lucky day!"She said as she clapped her hands and rocked back and forth between the heels and balls of her feet. She grabbed Severus' hand and tugged him to the right.

"Come, I have the perfect things for you," she said, excitedly. Severus looked absolutely mortified. That was when Minerva knew she was in for a wonderful afternoon.

"C'mon Severus! Put it on, it's just a shirt!" Millie urged.

Severus shook his head, refusing to put on the pale blue shirt Millie had in hand. Millie looked back at Minerva pleadingly where she sat watching the two with a cup of tea. She just provided an apologetic smile and shrugged her shoulders. That was the first shirt Millie asked Severus to try on that was neither black nor grey, Millie had allowed him to pick out colours as more of a reward for the 'tiring measurements' as she put it.

She spent twenty minutes taking his measurements, and jotting down ideas on what would look good on him. She allowed him to pick out a some t-shirts, shirts, sweatpants, jumpers, slacks, and wizard robes, she did give him suggestions and handpicked a few. Severus would grumble about it but ultimately surrendered as the colours were those he approved of.

The blue shirt however, he vehemently opposed.

"Please Sev, it'll look so cool on you!" Millie coaxed once more, using the nickname she insisted on using.

He shook his head once more, folding his arms. Millie's head dropped dejectedly, before she brightened up and stood up straight, Minerva could practically see the light bulb go off in her head.

"Sev, please just try it, it'll help me with new designs and I just want to see if these are good. You won't have to get them." She pleaded.

Minerva smirked slightly, as she saw Severus slowly give in. Millie never made a mistake when she thought something would look good on someone. If she said it would look good, chances are it would.

He caved after a minute, "Fine," he said, while grabbing the shirt roughly.

Millie made a fist of triumph in the air, she glanced at Minerva and gave her a wide grin. Minerva knew what she told the boy was a lie. He was going to be taking every article of clothing that she presented to him home.
