...

Silence followed the table after the remark, he wasn't wrong...

It really was pathetic that they were outsmarted by villains who were barley trying...

Mitsuki laid in her bed, grief sat on her heart like it was a throne.

Her eyes were swollen, she couldn't take it...
Her son, her only child...

Was dead.

And she couldn't help but feel like she was a horrible mother.
"I shouldn't have ever let him go to Shiketsu after what had first happened...
I should've pulled him out of the hero course as soon as the league started to attack...

Maybe if I did that...

He'd still be alive.

But because I failed as a mother...
He's ...
He's dead.

I wish I was nicer to him. If I could go back...
Just to hold him 1 more time..."
She clenched her jaw as more tears seared down her face.

Mitsuki swiveled her legs and stood up.
"I'm paying Inko a visit...
I need to know how she just let her son do this...
How she let her son kill mine."

She wiped away her tears as she got into some better clothes, grabbed her car keys, and drove off.

Inko was actually at her base, her "home".
It was really there for when izuku went to school, she was the parent after all.

She liked going there to relax from time to time, it was like her own little spot to get away when she wanted to.

Of course, she still returned back to base at the end of the day. She loved that place just as much as she loved her base.

As she relaxed in the living room, there was a knock on her door.
"Who would be visiting me at this time?
On a Saturday?"
She pulled out her phone and checked security cameras before she made a move.

"Mitsuki?

Right- izuku killed her son.
Right and I'm also supposed to be "devastated" that he's a villain and feeling guilt.
Alright act-"

Inko quickly forced some tears to stream down her face as she used her telekinesis to Put on some makeup as she headed to the door.

By the time she made it, she looked as if she was a mess.
Inko also went the extra mile and made her place messy.

"H-hello...?" Inko asked innocently as she hid her face behind the door.
She peered out and noticed Mitsuki's face, clearly holding back tears.
Her fists were clenched, as if they were being forcefully restrained from doing anything.

"Oh...
Mitsuki...
I-im so so-sorry... I-...
I h-heard of what happened and i-"
Inko came to light as she moved the door away, Mitsuki couldn't take it anymore.

Just by getting a glimpse of Inko's face, she saw izuku...

She slapped her.

Inko's anger struck the roof as she used her telekinesis to text someone in particular.
But she couldn't drop her act, it was too early...

"I-im sorry...
I k-know you're m-mad at me...

But it's not m-my fault"
Tears streamed down Inko's face as she stared at her "best friend".

Guilt struck Mitsuki, instantly regretting what she had done.
"I-im so sorry inko...!
I was j-just... So u-upset..."
She broke out into tears as she struggled to keep stand anymore.
