YG Entertainment, the company of both idols, confirmed that G-Dragon and BLACKPINK's Julie are currently in a relationship.
After getting caught partying closely by Dispatch, Julie and G-Dragon were put under the spotlight and fans were demanding a positioning. YG Entertainment first published a note, yesterday, on August 26, saying: "We cannot confirm anything of our artists' personal lives."

After a lot of questioning, speculation and backlash from netizens, the company announced another letter.
"Hello, this is YG Entertainment. Recently, rumours involving two of our idols are blowing up on the media.
Juliet Zhang (Zhang/Jang Julie) and Kwon Jiyong have mutual feelings for each other. We want to clarify the couple did not have any personal or romantic interaction before Julie's legal age.
Thank you for your attention, YG Entertainment."
