It is no secret that BLACKPINK's Julie has stolen the heart of millions of viewers with her role as "Angel" in the new HBO series "The Idol", even though the character seems to be inclined to the villain side, gaining a lot of praise from netizens for her unexpected acting skills.
However, The Weeknd, responsible for the soundtrack of the series, is no fool and decided to take advantage of his co-star's versatility and include Julie in most songs of the original playlist.
She had three duos with him, "Fill The Void", "Double Fantasy" featuring the rapper Future, and "Popular" with Playboy Carti. The two also collaborated with fellow co-stars Lily-Rose Depp and Jennie for "One Of The Girls"; without counting Julie's solos "Family" and "Dollhouse", and her versions of "World Class Sinner" and "Take Me Back".
"I heard that in K-pop is not very common for artists to write their own songs, so when Julie offered to help with the lyrics, to be honest, I was a little scared." The Weeknd admitted. "But I couldn't be more wrong. She's the epitome of talent and there's nothing she can't do."
