Chapter 02: The Contract

Naglakad ako papasok ng bahay ng Lola. It is on the country side and it would take me 6hrs drive, mabuti na lang at naghelicopter ako papunta dito. Nakakatuwa talaga na mainis ka, Tanda "The Valmonts won't be shaking hands with the Claveros if you're not okay with me and Elaina's marriage. I won't be signing that contract unless it is me to be married. I can now leave-"

"Fine! Ikaw na ang ikakasal doon sa babaeng yon! I don't care!" Grandmother left angrily, closing the sliding door in a harsh way. Napailing na lang ako at napatawa. I glanced at the contract and saw that the underline Liam's name should be is blank. I smiled and placed my own name there and signed it as well

"Aries!" Pumasok naman ang pinagkakatiwalaan kong reaper as he bowed his head "Yes, Miss?" I handed him the contract kaya nagtataka siya "Ibigay mo yan kay Olivia with no delay. Send also a copy to Mr. Clavero so he would be notified that his daughter will be marrying me, not my older brother" I instructed as he bowed again "Yes, Ma'am"

I took a sip of the tea in front of me and smirked. I wonder what would Lysandro think when he sees that his daughter is arranged to the Big Boss of the Syndicate?

I took a sip on the mug as I consumed my 4th coffee this day. The idea infuriates me but I have no choice, kailangan kong ipakasal si Elaina sa mga bwiset na Valmont na yon, kahit na mas matanda ang ipapakasal sa kanya. Plus, hindi naman siya gagalawin ng isang Aeneas William Valmont. He's a good and respectable man.

This marriage would be my escape route after being in debt to a madman in the Underworld. Hindi kami mapapahamak ng pamilya ko dahil konektado na kami sa mga Valmont. Yes, I already know that they are the Syndicate and I would be safe if I became their ally, my family would be safe kaya kailangan kong maipakasal si Elaina as soon as possible

You're too greedy, Sandro!" and left the office

Padabog kong isinara ang pinto. Dumadagdag pa tong isang to sa mga problema ko. May nagpop-up na email naman sa laptop ko kaya tinignan ko ito as my eyes widened
