Chapter 11: Interrupted by the Devil

I have to admit it was nice doing this with someone. It was... peaceful and comfortable and it was nice that Elaina adjusted so well even if I'm on her lap

The peaceful and comfortable atmosphere was then interrupted when my phone rang "I have to take this call" sambit ko kay Elaina, nodding her head as she paused the movie habang tumayo naman ako for privacy

I chuckled "The world is a very big place, Mr. Zhakarov" I spoke. I don't know why he wants me to kill someone when he could just talk to one of my reapers

"He's in the Philippines, Octavia. His name is Leonid Nikitin, my former friend. My spies had told me he stays in a hotel in Manila. Kill him for me, Miss Valmont, and I assure you, our alliance will be stronger than ever"

This was a hard decision. I don't want to leave Elaina but this was a big mission. Isa pa, this is the Russian Mafia we're talking about. I might be the richest person and have the powerful assassins however the Russian Mafia has more experience in this business

"I'll deal with him. I'll send a souvenir. Give me 24 hrs" sambit ko at binaba ang tawag. I massaged my forehead, trying to process everything. Tinext ko si Artemis, the mafia's IT, asking the whereabouts of Nikitin. I had declined many offers of killing someone even if I'm capable of doing it. I could see her disappointment kaya ngumiti na lamang ako at nilagpasan siya. I walked inside the walk-in closet and wore a black turtle neck sweater, black pants, boots, and black trench coat. Hindi ko alam kung papano ko ipupuslit ang sniper rifle na nakatago sa closet and I thought na dumaan na lang sa Mafia Mansion

"Bakit parang pupunta ka sa patay?" Lumingon ako kay Elaina as I smiled "Nope, ganto lang talaga ako magbihis kapag urgent ang business" sagot ko. I could see how she adored this look at kahit na under niya ko, I can look like a top too

"Do you really have to go?" she quietly asked, making me nod slowly. I really wish to stay pero request ito ng leader ng Russian Mafia, I cannot deny this one or else hahanap siya ng paraan upang patumbahin ako

I texted Aries, telling him to bring my sniper rifle at magkita kami sa parking ng building. He got there 10 mins after my text which is a good thing. My reapers are trained very well

"Are you sure na kaya niyong gawin to, Miss?" Aries asked. I sighed "Special mission from the Mafia Lord himself. I had to do it o mapapahamak si Elaina"

He nodded understandingly "Then I shall call Kreios to accompany Mrs. Valmont to ease your worries, Madame" sabi nito, making me smile softly "Thank you, Aries" I said as I went inside the car, leaving the premises to clean up the mess of the Russian Mafia
