The party started with the host doing it's job and such. Then the 18 blah blah blah. It all went smoothly as I planned this. Then finally, the 18 roses. I was quite nervous. I don't dance for free and I only know how to waltz
It first started with Poseidon, followed by her cousin, I think? Si Aries sana ang magiging first dance ni Elaina pero umayaw siya. Probably because he doesn't want my sister Olivia here, jealous, na katabi ko ngayon. Then Elaina's uncle which was followed by a member of the Student Council and so on so forth
Her 16th dance partner was my brother, Liam. I don't know what the hell they were talking about but it genuinely made Elaina laugh. I don't easily get jealous, mkay? But it's either he's saying some jokes or he's telling something embarrassing that happened to me
Pagkatapos non ay nakasayaw niya si Kreios, her bodyguard for the past 2 years. I know little about Kreios and even spent months finding his original family but there were none. She looks so fucking gorgeous and I could get lost in those beautiful eyes of hers. Ngumiti si Elaina sa akin as I held her waist, pulling her close to me "Happy birthday, my love" bati ko sa kanya
"Thank you, my darling. You look charming, by the way" sambit ni Elaina sa akin. We swayed into the music, not caring kung may nanonood o wala
"Napaka seryoso mo naman, buti pa kay Liam tumatawa ka" I pouted as she chuckled "It's not like that, my Octavia, you brother is just telling me how you pretended to fly when you were a kid"
Nanlaki ang mata ko sa sinabi niya. What the hell?! Bakit naman ikekwento ni Liam yun sa kanya?! "I'm going to kill him" ani ko as she pinched my cheeks "Ang cute cute mo, baby"
I looked away, forcing myself not to smile. Damn this woman. She always has this stupid effect on me. I pulled her closer to me and I don't even know if we were dancing because it looks like we were hugging each other
"You're so gorgeous, honey" I complimented her "We both know that I'm not as gorgeous as you, my lovely girl. Pinagtitinginan ka kaya ng mga tao"
"They were looking at me because I am the wife of the center of the attention tonight"
"Hush, birthday ko so let me win this"
"You always win arguments, mi amor"
After we danced, we sealed it with a kiss. Bumalik na ko sa upuan ko habang nagpatuloy ang flow ng party. There were games for both adults and kids and I must say I am enjoying this party
Every party that was thrown by the Valmont Family was formal and boring. This was semi-formal, as to Elaina's request. There were clowns and magicians to entertain the audience, a chocolate fountain for the kids, and loot bags for the kids as well. I slipped a loot bag for me to check what it was because hindi naman ako nakaranas non nung bata ako
I watched the guests eat while I eat on the corner, trying to hide the fact that I have a loot bag with me. Elaina greeted all of them with her mom and Kreios trailing behind them. After all, yun naman ang napag-usapan namin ni Kreios, ang bantayan si Elaina. Binuksan ko ang loot bag and what I saw made me smile a little bit
Chocolates and candies and a toy, a small stuffed turtle toy. Sa pagkakaalam ko ay legos ang nakuha ng mga bata at hindi stuffed toy
"I figured you would steal some loot bag kaya ayan nilagyan ko yang loot bag na yan" I chuckled at her nang maupo siya sa tabi ko "Thanks, love"
Elaina pinched my cheeks again at hindi ko alam kung bakit niya ginagawa yon lagi "Happy birthday, honey"
"Thank you, darling"
