Chapter 06: Good Morning, Trojan and Mrs. Valmont

It's already 12am. It was never my habit to wake up in such hours but I did which confuses me a lot. I looked at Elaina's sleeping figure as I covered her body with the gray blanket. I felt different than my usual aura

I feel like I'm allowed to be vulnerable

A lot of things happened this day. Bumaba ako para uminom ng tubig nang tumawag si Olivia sa akin. Of course, my daily routine was to stay up all night kaya normal lang na tumawag siya. However, due to some changes, hindi ako natawag sa kanya

"How's honeymoon, dear sister~" pang aasar ni Olivia as I rolled my eyes "Manahimik ka nga. Walang honeymoon, baliw to" I whispered angrily dahil baka masigawan ko tong si Olivia

"Aww, sayang. I admired you standing up for that girl. Crush mo talaga yan eh noh?"

Crush? A mafia boss doesn't have any personal attachments to anyone. Sa pagitan ng pamilya namin, namamayagpag ang business and mafia relationship, boss and member relationship. Napaka imposible na magkaroon ng love life ang mafia boss at sa mga napapakinggan ko, lalo na sa Russian Mafia, ang pag iisang dibdib ng isang tao at ng mafia boss ay pure business, wala nang iba pa at sa kaso namin ni Elaina, ganun din ang mangyayari

"Nah, ginagawa ko lang to kasi di ka pa pwede, remember? Gusto ko na ngang magparty eh. Well, malapit ka naman nang mag-18 at ikaw na ang maghahandle ng stress. Goodluck and goodbye!" at binaba ang tawag, which made me frustrated. Ako ang nagbababa ng tawag at hindi ako ang binababaan nito

Damn you, Olivia

Umakyat na ko pabalik sa kwarto where I found Elaina reading some book na alam kong galing sa office ko habang nakabukas ang lamp shade. Tumingin naman siya sa akin "Why are you awake?" tanong ko

"Ang likot mo kasi kaya nagising ako. Bakit ka ba umalis?" medyo naiinis na tanong ni Elaina "I drank water and did some business with my sister" sambit ko at naupo sa kama

"Ahh, okay! Tulog na tayo ulit" she said at niyakap akong muli. Naramdaman ko naman ang pag init ng mga pisngi ko. This woman always have that impact on me

"E-Elaina... di ako pwedeng matulog..." I mentally cursed myself for stuttering. This was not supposed to happen and I did not do that on purpose. I am Octavia Valmont, the boss of the Syndicate and the CEO of Valmont Industries, why the hell am I stuttering?!

"Matulog ka or else" pagbabanta nito. I gave in and hugged her back. Like I said, this was never me but when it comes to Elaina, I just gave in and become vulnerable which is not good dahil ayokong mapahamak si Elaina

I made a long line of enemies na malamang gusto na kong pabagsakin and her being connected with me would make it so much worst. I just sighed against her neck, drowsiness took over me as I fell into a deep void

Nagising ako at tinignan ang pigura sa tabi ko. Elaina had that smile and I had to admit it was quite nice but since we're friends, I pushed her lightly "What a bad morning tsaka anong princess? Yuck!" I exclaimed as she laughed "Deserve, bitch. Gumising ka na. May pasok pa tayo, remember?" sambit ni Elaina at tumayo. Napansin kong nakasuot na siya ng blouse nya

I groaned "This is absolutely the worst" at tumayo na para maghanda na para sa academy. After that, I combed my hair and tied it on a messy bun. I removed my glasses and wore my contact lens

"Mas maganda ka kaya kapag may salamin, mukha kang ewan kapag wala eh" sambit ni Elaina sa likod ko. I looked at the girl using the reflection of the mirror "Shush it. Alam kong mabubully ako kapag may salamin ako. Plus, andami kayang bully dun and the StuCo doesn't even take action" I bitterly spoke which made her pause

"I'll take care of it then" aniya. I stood up and took my bag, as well as my coat. We walked down the stares as I saw Kreios standing near the table with our breakfast

"Good morning, Miss and Mrs-" I glanced at him sharply, noticing that he would call Elaina "Mrs. Valmont" which I know would made her uncomfortable but I heard her chuckle "Tuloy mo lang, Kreios" sabi nito and smiled, which confused me

I stared at him deadly but I think he shrugged it off "Mrs. Valmont" Kreios surpressed a laugh. He is childish and very playful so I already know why he did that in front of me. I saw how Elaina wore that victorious smile on her face "Much better"

I rolled my eyes as she elbowed me with a smirk "4pts for Clavero~" Elaina spoke, making me glare at her. Look, the score doesn't matter but my competitive self says no. Just you wait, Elaina. I'll excel in this stupid game of yours

Lumakad ako sa gilid at nagpaka "gentleman", I moved the sit for her kaya nagtaka siya. I equally made a smirk "Upo ka na, mahal~" I saw how her cheeks produce a light blush. Finally! Naupo na siya as I raised her a brow while smirking "2pts for Valmont. Who's the bottom now, Laina?" 

We glanced at Kreios when he cleared his throat "I will be leaving the both of you now, Miss and Mrs. Valmont" he bowed again. Nakikita ko naman sa pagmumukha niya ang abot hanggang tengang ngiti which made me mentally groan on the inside. Malamang pagchichismisan ako ng mga reapers ngayon

I waved my hand, sending him off. Pasalamat siya nandidito si Elaina kung hindi baka kanina ko pa siya binatukan

Plus, why the fuck did he refer me as Miss Valmont?!
