I chuckled "Actually, my father-in-law is the one who's fooling me and you, Nikitin. Half of the money he makes from me? Pathetic, his daughter hasn't even talked to him" I replied
He shook his head "No...! The Russians are planning to take over your mafia and want to kill your wife after her father lied and stole Zhakarov's money"
I felt a thick lump on my throat "You can kill me now, Octavia, but I know your wife meant more than anything you have right now-"
"You helped him to steal the money right? And now that Dimitri found out you did it, you sold him off, correct?"

"Bakit mo siya dinala dito, Kreios?!" I angrily yelled and that made me hiss in pain. I saw how Elaina rushed to my side, holding me close to her "W-Why did you bring her here..." I spoke, much calmer and weaker than the one I gave
"Let's talk later dahil kailangan kitang dalhin sa ospital-" I cutted her off "No... Don't. Mas maghihinala ang mga pulis sa akin. Kreios, you know where to bring me" sabi ko as another wave of pain rushed to me
I gritted my teeth. A lot of questions in my mind. Why is Elaina here? What happens now? I cannot protect her anymore? What if Nikitin is right? Will the Russians really hurt my wife?
Everything was a blur as I closed my eyes, letting everything happen to me
After all, this was my fault

"Hmm? Gusto mo tubig? Teka kuha kita-" I held her arm, stopping her from leaving me alone again "No... Don't leave..." sabi ko. She sat back down and looked at me, worried
"I know everything na, Octavia. Why didn't you tell me anything ha?" she asked. I lowered my head and sighed "I had to... protect you from the dangers of knowing such things..." sabi ko as her eyebrows met
"No, Octavia, dapat alam ko tong mga bagay na to. Papano pa kaya kung hindi sinabi ni Kreios sa akin to? Malamang tinago mo na sakin to for 2 months at hindi lang two weeks" aniya. I slightly smiled "You're intelligent kaya alam kong malalaman mo rin naman agad"
Pinaikot naman niya ang mga mata niya "Kahit na, Octavia. You should have told me, hindi yung sa ibang tao ko pa malalaman"
Hinatak ko si Elaina papunta sa aking higaan at niyakap siya. I shrugged the pain on my side just to hug her. Tumahimik naman ito at hinalikan ako. I didn't expect that she'll do that and it made me hug her more
"Never ever make me worry, mkay?" sabi nito as I nodded. However, I don't know if I would keep that promise because I will do everything to protect her
