After that incident, we went out for lunch in a local mall, wearing our masks para hindi kami dumugin ng mga tao. I don't mind kung ako lang mag-isa but I am with Elaina so I have to protect her

"Why are we eating here and not at McDonalds or Wendy's or Jollibee?" tanong ko as she smiled "I know you have a different taste palette basing it on your cooking. Besides, palagi mo kong pinagbibigyan na kumain sa fast food, this time ikaw naman" sagot ni Elaina as she pulled me inside the restaurant

Once we settled at the corner table, we removed our masks and ordered our meal. We decided that we should order a Caesar Salad Roast Chicken, Habanero BBQ Shrimp, and Grilled Pork Spareribs With Soda Bottle Barbecue Sauce and we were amused that the waitress was surprised to see us

Napatingin ako sa mga lamesa sa harapan namin. There were a man and a female. The female then gave a small brown envelope to the bearded man who was wearing eyeglasses

The man opened the envelope and sniffed it as I saw small green crystals that either looks like sugar or ice and it hit me

It was drugs

"Kanina ka pa nakatingin sa kanila. Do you know them?" tanong ni Elaina as I glanced at her, smiling "Nope, just spaced out for a second. I wasn't looking at them" sagot ko

"Octavia" tawag niya sa akin as I sighed "Look, I think there's some drug transaction here and it's nothing like I've ever seen-" I was cut off when that same man screamed loudly as he pulled out a gun which made my eyes widen

"Elaina, go under the table, dali!" I spoke as we both ducked our heads and went under the table. I am sure that whatever that man inhaled, it's the reason why he's acting like this. I glanced at the female na kasama niya kanina and to everyone's horror, she was dead, her neck sliced off

"LISTEN YOU PIECE OF SHITS!! I AM YOUR GOD!! I'M A HIGHER BEING THAN ALL OF YOU!!" sigaw nito as I tried to pull out my gun but noticed that Elaina was here. Fuck, I can't risk her life. I sighed and held her hand

"I'll call the police-" sambit ko as Elaina was pulled up by that motherfucker by her hair

"Elaina!" I yelled as I tried to take her from his grasp. He slapped me with his gun and pointed it to me

"Subukan mong tumawag ng pulis, papatayin ko itong babaeng to!" he yelled. Napataas naman ako ng kamay as I cursed myself. Why did I not see this coming?!

"It's okay, Tavia. He won't hurt me" nakangiting sabi ni Elaina as she was pulled by her hair again, which made her wince in pain. With that, Elaina kicked his groin as I unarmed him. However, he got Elaina, hostage, once again. Fucking bitch!

He was aiming a knife at her throat. I could see it was creating a small wound. Tch!

"Put the gun down, young lady or she's dead!" sigaw nito sa akin. I gave him a death stare at tinignan si Elaina. She was scared yet she was calm, I could see it in her eyes

I remained calm and aimed it to him. I don't know what got into me to do that act but if he kills Elaina in front of me like he did to his female comrade, then I swear to God, I will kill myself

"Let her go" ani ko. He was driven by drugs which is why his self control was gone. Elaina was more scared than a while ago

"Octavia, stop"

"No. Fucking let her go, you motherfucker!" sigaw ko sa lalaki as he only tightened his grip on the handle of the knife. Hindi ko na alam kung anong gagawin especially when Elaina's almost touching hands with the Grim Reaper

Nakipagmatigasan ako as he kept yelling to me to drop the gun. There's 1/2 chance that once I stop aiming this loaded gun to his skull, he will free Elaina or pag binaba ko ito, papatayin niya pa rin, which is why I am not letting him win

He will answer to my terms and not the other way around

That's when I heard police sirens outside, yelling to put our weapons down. The police then arrested him. Swerte namin na si Poseidon ang police na naririto, which means I can have access to the drugs. I'm not refferring on using it like that guy but I would like to further investigate this one

Niyakap ako ni Elaina as I hugged her back, my mind still a blur ngunit binato ko sa gilid ang baril to hug her back. I never felt this panic and fear but right now, I wanted to hide my face away because I let this happen to her

Lumapit si Poseidon sa amin and spoke "They need to investigate this incident, Trojan. They need your statements" mahinahong sabi nito. I composed myself once again while Elaina held onto my arms "We'll give our statement once we've settled. Take Elaina with you para magamot yung sugat niya sa leeg" utos ko as he nodded

Elaina gave me the look of concern as I nodded and let her go. Tinignan ko ang dalawang kamay ko, it surprised me that I was shaking. Yes, nanginginig ako pag nakikita ko si- Well, you know who but this never happened kapag life and death events na. I always have myself calm yet right now, I am shaking
