Sumakay ako sa elevator, no one dared to ride the elevator. I clicked the top floor level where my office is. It was quiet, too quiet not until someone rode the elevator at floor 8. "What the hell do you want from me?" As I spoke that, the man launched his body at me, giving me full blown attacks with a knife. I defended myself and attacked as well. He lunged forward, his fists swinging with out of desperation. I sidestepped his attack with fluid grace. I countered with a swift kick aimed at his midsection, but he deflected it with a well-timed block

I was drawing on my agility, landing a series of quick jabs to his torso. The assassin retaliated with brute force, his blows raining down with relentless ferocity. I delivered a spinning kick that caught him off guard, sending him stumbling backward. I grabbed the opportunity and gave him blow after blow

"Tired already, bastard?" I asked smugly. He growled in anger and attacked once again. This time, I was ready against his attacks. I could see how his stamina was depleted. I kicked his shin and used my knee against his gut. However, he threw a punch on my face, making my lower lip bleed

I stepped onto the wall and threw a punch on his jaw. The attacks grew back and forth, with him getting the upper hand and vice versa. A few moments later, parehas na kaming pagod but I tried to keep my facade going. Sinipa ko siyang muli and when he hit the wall, I threw a hard punch, knocking him out

I sighed as I took my phone and called Olivia "Hi, baby sister-"

"Get a reaper in my office as soon as possible, someone competent" I spoke coldly. I could sense the confusion in her as she replied "And why?"

"Because Elaina's father sent someone and attempted to murder me in the fucking elevator" I said as I heard her gasp. She spoke back, saying how she'll have Apollo come in and deal with this mess. I was ended the call and walked out of the elevator since wala namang katao tao sa floor ng office ko. I dragged the guy's body out of the elevator as I removed my necktie to tie his wrists and ankles all together, tila malababoy ang pagkakatali ganun

I then entered my office and used my handkerchief to wipe the blood off my mouth as I glanced at the mirror. I have a wounded ear and now a busted lip and bruises. Fuck this shit. I then walked out of the office and assessed the guy, taking his phone. I accessed it already and saw how his contact was merely my father-in-law. I'm not surprised. I ruined his life so I know it will be him. I called through the assassin's phone and he picked up, fortunately

"Anong nangyari? Napatay mo na ba siya? Is Trojan dead already?" sunod sunod niyang tanong. I merely kept quiet as I could hear him get angry "What the hell?! Answer me-!"

"Unfortunately, your bastard couldn't answer the phone since he's unconscious, Lysandro" I spoke nonchalantly. I could hear him gasp as I snickered "Kung papatayin mo ko, sana dinamihan mo yung tatrabaho. Well, it was fun, a great distraction from all I was thinking"

"Don't think na hindi kita kayang hanapin because I can and I will kill you. Kahit saang lupalop ka pa sa mundo magtago, hahanapin kitang tangina ka. You don't deserve mercy, not even God can help you. You will receive hell because hell is where you belong"
