(Anabia's pov)

"Anabia, kidhar jaa rahi ho. Chup chap idhar aao aur naashta karo." I heard a voice behind me as I ran down the stairs and towards the main door of the house. Turning around, I saw my dear mother standing there, with her hands resting on her hips and a disapproving look on her face.

(Anabia, where are you going? Quietly come here and eat your breakfast.)

I immediately put on my most pleading expression and looked at her with puppy dog eyes. "Ammi, please. Mujhe college se der ho rahi hai. Agar me late hui toh sir bohot daanten ge. Aage hi maine Physics ki assignment khatam nahi ki." I said, thinking of the assignement which was only half done. If it had been any other subject, I would have finished it ages ago. But physics...

(Mum, please. I am getting late from college. If I get late, then the teacher will scold me a lot. Already, I haven't finished the Physics assignment.)

And to make matters worse, it was due in 1 day. I mentally groaned.

"Toh kisne kaha tha ke raat ko late movies dekho." Ammi's chastising voice broke me out of my thoughts.

(Who told you to watch movies late night?)

"Pata hai, ammi, lekin woh hero kitna dreamy tha... haye, uski smile aur uski-" I said, staring into space when all of a sudden, my dreamy voice was cut off by a hard, booming voice, coming from behind me.

(I know, mum, but that hero is so dreamy... Omg, his smile and his-)

"Bia." I stiffened. I really didn't have to look to know who it was. I could recognise this voice anywhere.

Slowly, I turned around to look into the pair of hazel brown eyes that were staring at me intensely.

"Ab der nahi ho rahi college se?" He said in a loud voice, his jaw clenched hard, and his hand fisted tightly, as he walked towards me.

(Aren't you getting late from college, now?)

"A-Asfanyaar bhaijaan, a-aap." I stuttered, averting my eyes from his scorching gaze. "Woh... main jaa hi rahi thi." I said quickly and hurriedly turned towards the door, to get away from the Hitler.

(A-Asfanyaar brother, you.)(I... was just going.)

"Arre, kaise jaao gi college?" Ammi called out after me and I frowned. I turned around and faced her once again.
