**** Paula and Chad in the m/m. ****

Amber POV-

"This is Paula your assistant." Omari was taking me around the office introducing me to everyone.

"Hi!!!!" A cheery woman stood up to hug me.

"I am so glad to be getting a woman in this office. I have someone I can talk to now. Yay!!!!!" She jumped up and down.

"Nice to meet you." I laughed at her enthusiasm.

"I have heard so much about you. Omari made sure to brief us all about you coming at the staff meeting."

"Did he?" I looked at O.

"Sure did. And he told us you were one of the best. So I can't wait to see you in action."

"Aww thank you."

Omari's cellphone started to ring. "Paula can you give her a tour around the rest of the office?" He asked.

"I'd love too."

Omari answered his phone and left us.

"Oh let's start down here." She lead me down the hall.

"This is our kitchen area. Store your lunch here. We got a latte machine. Makes great lattes by the way and our coffee machine for your morning fix."

She led me out to a room next door. "This is the large conference room where you'll have all your meetings."

"Ok." I said looking around.

"The paralegals sit there." She pointed to two cubicles.

"Omari's office is here." We walked passed a giant office where Omari was talking on a phone behind a closed door.

"The bathrooms down there." She pointed down the hall. "You have to use your keycard to get in. If you ever lose it or something just let me know I have plenty in my desk."

We walked to the other end of the hall. "Your office is down there if course. She pointed to my office and in this corner office is Chad have you met him?"

"No. He's actually the senior counsel. He's under Omari so more than likely you and him will be paired up for each case, however he'll get the lead because of his seniority."

We looked through the glass at him. He seemed intently focused on writing something down.

Paula knocked on the door. He looked up with a look of irritation and turned his attention back to his writing.

"Let's just say he isn't the nicest person in the world." Paula led me away and showed me the rest of the office.

We walked back to my office. She picked up the pic on the desk of me, Aug and the kids.

"Oh my God you have such a gorgeous family. This smallest one is as cute as a button." She said referring to Auggie.

"Thank you. But don't let his cuteness fool you he's a handful." I laughed and shook my head as I took off my suit jacket. I put it on the back of my chair.

"You got a family?" I asked her.

"Well I have a mom and dad. And my cats. But no kids or husband."

"Aww don't be down on yourself you'll find someone."

"I hope so. It would be great to get married and have kids. that sorta thing." She gave a bright smile. "But enough about me. I am here to get you whatever you need. Don't hesitate to call me you just press the blue button and I'll be there!" She gave a pig's awkward laugh.
